Liam Neeson is reprising his role as Qui-Gon in the Clone Wars.

Surprising to say the least, since I remember rumors that he wasn't too happy to have been part of the prequels.
I don't like the clip at all, but I suppose it needs to be viewed in context before it can be properly judged.

Padawan LearnerThough I'd shared this, Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Qui-Gon Jinn in the Jan 28th Clone Wars episode!:

It's great that Neeson is back. Maybe he will appear on the RotS blu-ray version too, since they couldn't get him at the time.

Yeah vision quest or bonk on the head will make things go away:
Here's the RotS dialog.
02:04:31,760 --> 02:04:35,196
Master Kenobi, wait a moment.
1093
02:04:36,680 --> 02:04:41,674
In your solitude on Tatooine,
training I have for you.
1094
02:04:42,960 --> 02:04:44,188
Training?
1095
02:04:44,320 --> 02:04:48,711
An old friend has learned
the path to immortality.
1096
02:04:50,680 --> 02:04:53,638
One who has returned from
the netherworld of the Force.
1097
02:04:53,760 --> 02:04:56,069
Your old master.
1098
02:04:56,760 --> 02:04:58,159
Qui-Gon?
1099
02:05:00,600 --> 02:05:03,717
How to commune with him
I will teach you.

Unexpected to be sure, but rather than being unhappy about being part of the prequels when initially asked, I reckon he was probably more unhappy about how they turned out...

I've never bothered with any of these CGI episodes before (or even the movie!), but may catch them one day out of curiosity. I did like the look of the earlier, short, stylized, animated Clone Wars cartoon series however.

Thanks Ric.
No image-only posts unless the image has a direct bearing on the topic at hand and it adds value to the discussion.
I'd say it definitely has a direct bearing on the topic at hand. Does it add value to the discussion? Debatable, but it's no different than someone just typing "who cares?"

Younger Ben who like most of the SW universe was quite certain that death means you don't get to talk to someone, ever again. When Yoda goes, I've got someone to talk to you, and it's a dead guy. That's a surprise. A reveal.
That reveal works less, if Younger Ben is shown to have communicated with the certainly dead guy earlier in his history.
Now you can speculate that this clip is either a vision, hologram, dream, Fortress of Solitude crystal vapor drug halucination, etc. But I don't see how you can have the RotS Yoda message have the same weight if Younger Ben has been 'talked' to previously with the character who was suppose to be gone.
yes, we haven't seen the episode yet. no ones holding their breath. But i'm going with Obi gets a 'bonk' on the head and forgets this Qui-Gon ghost meeting. or Qui-Gon's ghost might have the ability to wipe Obi's mind afterwards, keeping the reveal poignant. there's some good retcon.
*EDIT*
or if you'd like to pull a fast one on Yoda, and loose the revel aspect, having Qui-Gon and Younger Ben form an alliance behind the back of the Jedi Council, so Younger Ben is Acting when Yoda informs him of Qui-Gon's return. That's something I could buy into. Qui-Gon was semi-against some of the decisions of the council in TPM so it wouldn't be out of character. and it would set up, like AotC Ben, a detective Qui-Gon ghost storyline, which when you figure out how and where these ghosts can go and do, then something might make for an interesting episode.

Magister Pontifex MaximusQui-Gon's Ghost : Have you done what I asked, did you train the boy?
Obi-Wan : Yeah, the council were dead against it but I put my foot down and insisted.
Qui-Gon's Ghost : Did you make sure his mother was safe?
Obi-Wan : Well... no you didn't ask me to do that, it's all a bit of shame really she's dead.
Qui-Gon's Ghost : Did you keep him away from Queen Amazulu?
Obi-Wan : No they seem to be spending a lot of time alone together recently.
Qui-Gon's Ghost : Did you team up with my former Master Dooku and seek out the Sith Master working everyone behind the scenes?
Obi-Wan : Look you could have blurted out a few of these requests at the last minute or left a note or something. Dooku has gone bad, he keeps trying to blow up Padme and kidnap the Chancellor.
Qui-Gon's Ghost : Chancellor Binks? Yes! He is key to everything?
Obi-Wan : No Palpatine and he's doing rather well considering, we'd be really screwed if he hadn't pulled a clone army out of his hat with no explanation.
Qui-Gon's Ghost : Oh Snap!

Better a bad bomb than a bombadI would dig if the Clone Wars show had a flashback episode to Obi and Qui in pre-TPM time. Just a cool adventure to see these two back in action.

They could make it a neverending shot. Have Luke see Ben and Yoda, Vader fades in. Then those 3 all look over their shoulder <camera zooms in> to see Qui-Gon, Yarael Poof and Jedi-'X' who look over their shoulder <camera zooms in> to see Jedi-'Y', Jedi-'Z' and i'll leave that to people who know more about the EU...

For massive creepy, after the Ewok village party they pan out and show all the Order 66 fallen Jedi as ghosts creeping around the universe....
