I already have my next avatar picked out...but you'll have to wait until April to see.

You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.

I for one dont like the idea of people changing avatars all the time.

To me the point of an avatar is

  1. at a glance identify who is posting
  2. it's easier to develop a virtual 'relationship' with an image than with a word I have to read.

When they're always changing it seems counter productive to the purpose of the avatar.

This is of course just my opinion.

^I would say it depends on certain criteria. I've been using a different avatar every month for over 4 years at buckethead.tk...but they've all been of Sid. A lot of people say he's like the unofficial symbol of the site. When I hit 10,000 posts, almost 40 people used Sid avatars for several weeks. :)

Now all I have to do is find a cartoon of Sluggo with a KFC bucket on his head.

Now that would be a funny theme: can be anything, but must be wearing a KFC bucket! :p

I have now put a face to the name of xhonzi.  And I can confirm that despite his earlier post in this thread, he does indeed have a face.

RE: Putting a face to the name

that's....disappointing.

look at Johnny Ringo, man.  If I had to go against that guy it would be an Indiana Jones\Dovchenko event - and I'd be hoping like hell for a bunch of ants.

Was he wearing a KFC bucket on his head?

The question remains:

Xhonzi, is Frink just a floating pair of sunglasses, or an ancient man?

I think he's

with

... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

All I can say is that his profile pic must have been taken some time ago.

And he's either lying about his age, or he's too senile to know the difference anymore.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

I think we should switch to using other people's avatars instead of our own.

That would be mega-confusing and mega-hilarious.  I approve.

I noticed that my duplicate of Sluggy's avatar is a little smaller.

From now on I am Sluggo Jr ! (or until I go back to being Zig :-P)

^Ziggy, for some reason that happens on occasion. If I were to be a beautiful woman like Gaffer Tape, my avatar would get a large white box around it unlike his.
