RE: Project Index: Star Wars Preservation and Other Projects

^This has fallen by the wayside.  Last attempt was a disc by Rikter, maybe 2006...

Well not a disc but at least a website ...

Can we get a pinned thread with perhaps one or two paragraph summaries of the main restorations/preservations and edits (what improvements were made etc.)? Let the creators perhaps make the descriptions themselves? Some of the discussion threads are now hundreds of pages long, so I think this would be a good idea, and especially helpful for new members. Thoughts?

^ This is certainly helpful, but I was thinking of something a little more extensive, including screenshot comparisons with the 1995 'faces" VHS, 2004 DVD, and 2006 GOUT, quotes from satisfied fans etc. Something informative and fun!

It is a wiki, the people who believe in it's usefulness, update it.

they are all on alt.binaries.starwars

Would it be worthwhile to have a list of active and dead projects? Maybe another sticky'd post...

"And I'm shocked at you Moth3r for being off-topic, Because if people off-topic you say "stay on-topic, STAY on-topic, STAY ON-TOPIC", and we are not in the Off topic section of OT.com, now are we?" –pat man

"Look again." –Moth3r

"whouse erica,frank???!" –pat man 2

"Whouse youse, pam man?" –TV's Frink

"david.i dont get it,what is "whouse"??????" –pat man 2

"Do you even look at what you write in your own posts?" –Davnes007

I just found out that the link for the EditDroid set doesn't work on Firefox and Chrome, only on IE. This is the correct (working) link http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/The-EditDroid-Trilogy-DVD-Info-and-Feedback-Thread/topic/1703/
