of Earth.As I think we all know, Ralph McQuarrie's Concept Art for Star Wars was critical in making the whole thing the huge success that it is.
Since I can't have Mr. McQuarrie paint me some fancy pictures, I look for interesting looking "concept art" anywhere I can find it. I'll be posting some interesting Star Warsian pics here... feel free to do so too.

Excellent thread. For many ships I want to blend OT styling with art deco - not entirely streamlined but more clunky (the second is newer but awesome):
I would want them to still feel like precursors to OT technology.
This is neither here not there, but I think it adds something:

The prequels ain't canon, son.I think this is a really cool idea! Although, a lot of the formerly rejected McQuarrie art WAS used a lot in the prequels.
