No one's obliged to read it, did you know.
It turned out this long because I felt like listing all, or the majority of characters, aspects and moments that I liked about the prequel trilogy, and elaborating on the one or other (well,... most of them). Had I intended to really trim it down lest I offend your gentle short attention-eyes, thereby eliminating half () my "points", I would have done it surely.
Whoever thinks they're being clever by pretending that this post had been directed directly at them (here's the lesson of the day for ya: brushing off lengthy private message with a dismissive one-liner = win; doing the same with a public forum post in an appropriate thread = ur lame) and therefore them not reading it did count for anything to anyone, can happily go somewhere else ;)
A forum post is, by its very definition, written and composed by someone who, well, feels like writing it, and for whoever feels like reading it. To put it bluntly so: if you're not interested, you are not interesting. And you are free to go.

See You, Space Cowboy...Shake my head... in disapproval. It's text-speak. Normally I don't sink that low, but for some reason I like that phrase. Also known as facepalm for black people (urbandictionary, not me)

... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

Green Plastic SkywalkerAnd thought all the abbreviations on here were bad before!

Shadow of the Sith was awesome. How did that movie become serious!? And the ending, I was a little surprised at first, but.... I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it was great.
Another part I liked about the PT no one has mentioned: The part during the duel of the fates scene where the forcefields or whatever come on and all three of them are separated and QuiGon just kneels and Maul is pacing in front of him - badass. Why is this happening? I don't know, but it's cool nonetheless. That's the way you have to look at a lot of things in the PT I think, but it all works out better if you do.
And Ziggy I does today count as next week since it's Sunday? I NEED TO KNOW!

He's meditating to "recharge" his powers or something like that.

Green Plastic SkywalkerI mean the forcefields (or whatever they were) themselves. Why did they have a bunch of them back to back to back to back in some hallway? And why were they turning on and off? Maybe there is a good reason, but like I said, all ignored points in the movie because I was so entertained by the fight itself. And Qui-Gon's Awesomeness. And it's the PT.

Ah, yes, that. Yea, not explained at all, I think they just felt it was cool ;)
Here's the thing, if we're to get pessimistic (that is, look at everything from the boring perspective of "character motivations" and so on), Qui-Gon's a huge dumbshit for launching at Maul without waiting for his partner. Once again, we get to wonder why they can't just remove those shield generator thingies with the Force.
But yes, the way it's filmed and conveyed, that meditation scene is bloody cool. And a good piece of characterization if taken for itself (Maul is arrogant and certain of his superiority, Jinn... well, he's arrogant before and after this scene for not waiting for his partner, but in this scene, he's thoughtful, reserved and aware of his physical inferiority... I guess).

To be fair, you could probably pick apart a LOT of movies and show how little sense they actually make.

Well doesn't exactly speak for them, does it :)
Not sure about every movie (I'd say generally the ones set in real life have an overall high chance of avoiding plot holes), but you can sure do that with the OT ;)
