PM trees?

Hi everyone,
perhaps the title makes no sense but let me explain further. On certain forum software, if a PM series goes on for more than one interaction, you can view previous actions above or below your beginning of the new reply. This would be easier than having to keep multiple tabs open to remember what you've already said or haven't said. Can it be done? Should I explain clearer?

Makes perfect sense to me, and I like the idea if it can be done here.

The data for this to work is already present; I thought of it when I first started the forums years ago. I just never implemented the front end functionality. Shouldn't be too tough. I'll add it to the list.

Any status on the list?

The petition and design changes have occupied my time for a while, so forum enhancements were put on the back burner. I'll get to it eventually.

Any updates, Jay? Not that this is too important, but it would be a rather useful feature.

Still eagerly awaiting this change if it's implementable. Even old-school e-mail services have it..

It's doable. PMs are grouped into threads much like posts, so the data is there. I haven't forgotten that it's a desired feature.
