It's only been up a few minutes and Jambe and I have already started being subversive. Join us, but try to be respectful.

With the closing of the official site forums I guess this is now the official way to bug Lucasfilm.

The Secret History of Star Wars -- now available on Amazon.com!

I've notice that all the damn "SE changes and prequels are better" morons are coming out of the woodwork on the facebook page now. It will be interesting to see if any comments that argue against this case will be deleted or not over the next coming days

Facebook is not good for the health of the internet, you, personal freedom, and a whole bunch of other things people don't value anymore.

The Beatles were right - Nothing Is Real.

I looked around randomly and noticed a few incidents of click to "View all 9 comments", and saw there were only one or two.  Already cleansing.  Already revising history.

Lucasfilm;

Here are the voices of our fans......well, provided they're saying what we want them to say.

On a side note, the TFN-style gushing & defending are very disturbing.

Exactly. All the gushing today is getting really ridiculous and idiotic.

We should all link savestarwars.com to the official fb page. See what happens. ;)

It's not just stupid and annoying anymore it's actually rather creepy.

If this can be done to a film with robots and laser swords where are the limits?

Wow.  What a complete waste of space.  No critical opinions.  No opinions, period.  Just blank and meaningless praise intermingled with random, meanginless quotes.

There is no lingerie in space...

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don't exist... then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks... and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming... Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

This is why a huge group allowing free range on an FB page's Wall is dumb. You can't find anything more than a half hour old because everyone is posting their own thoughts. It's not discussion, but I'm not sure its supposed to be.

No discussions, no criticisms.  Just mindless gushing.  Exactly the way Lucas likes it.

Anything else is deleted instantly and retconned into proper Lucas text.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!
