OT.COM Pilot Callsigns and Battlechatter

I remember some time ago there were some posts suggesting Galactica style call-signs.

It might be fun if we picked one or two syllable call sign names (possibly truncated versions of our current user names) and have them used in battle voice chatter in Star Wars edits and fan films.

As an example I guess mine would have to Bingo.

This thread could also be expanded to propose fun, serious or really silly examples of battle chatter either in the films or in incongruous situations (CB radio, Facebook pokes, Go-Cart racing etc).

Could I be Milli Vanilli Chilly Willy?

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish memes.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

Once a Slugoo, always a Slugoo.

Most people call me ESF without hesitation, so I guess it's perfect.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won't last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you'll be able to project it on a 20' by 40' screen with perfect quality. I think it's the director's prerogative, not the studio's to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

look at Johnny Ringo, man.  If I had to go against that guy it would be an Indiana Jones\Dovchenko event - and I'd be hoping like hell for a bunch of ants.

"Ash" works for me, I suppose.  I'm used to it by now.

Sure, that works too, but that might make people think I'm from California, when in fact I've never even been there.

That could be the source of some space battle hilarity.

I think both names should stand.

It may make sense to phonetically spell out acronyms so ESF would become Eeyesseff, though three syllables may be pushing it so how about Yesseff?
