Now how fancy is this?

Epic Ink puts original Star Wars production blueprints in five-thousand books.

Star Wars replica prop builders are gonna love this. Especially the R2 guys.

I'll bet someone builds the Falcon or Jabba's barge full scale and lives in it!

not from these drawings.  these are design drawings.  there's no detail inside the walls.  all surface applique.

and despite this the films these drawings are for might be forever lost to time thanks to a certain bearded man.

To be fair, I don't remember him using the term "bearded man" before.

...

I still laughed.

I wish I had lived in the heyday of vinyl records. Something about the format just appeals to me. But I've never, ever played one =(

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

Every time I see new records for sale at Best Buy or elsewhere, I think for a split second Laserdiscs have come back from the dead. ;)

It's never too late :)
Seriously, it's extremely easy to put together a decent turntable/amplifier setup.  And if you're patient, you could probably find one for cheap, even free.

This. I got my technics from the college AM station I worked in while in school. If you want to get into the format, now is the time. Online sites have popped up everywhere with all of the equipment you would need and used records are becoming dirt cheap. Just check ebay.

It's addicting though. You'll realize this when you go into a record shop and find yourself holding an LP up to the light to check the hand etched matrix numbers in the deadwax on each side.
