Heading for a breakdown
RE: New forum software - please read!
I like the new look. there are a few things that i miss though. I haven't got a clue how to add an image, links etc to a reply anymore. Is there any chance of re-adding the buttons to do this again?

At some point, yes, there will be buttons. Probably a WYSIWYG editor, actually.
In the meantime...

One request. I noticed the email notifications don't have the topics in the subject line any more.
Sort of makes things difficult if you are subscribed to a couple busy ones.

I'm gonna miss the old police man. And the occasional "Wait, I didn't post that... Oh, it was Zebonka."
I converted mine to 80 x 80 and kept it. Looks awful zoomed in, not that it really looked great before. I might change it sometime soon, but there are already too many changes to cope with at once.

Looking quite good so far, Jay. Nice work. I assume we just need to be patient for the moment. Oh, and please tell me that really is Eric Estrada and not you at some fan convention...

I wish everyone's old avatars carried over (and stretched to fill the whole avatar box, or at least didn't have a blue boarder around them), there are a lot of people who don't post here anymore, so if you go into any old threads you are met with a zillion blank faces.

You have a good point about the old avatars. I might be able to accommodate that request :)

Oh no, I'm sure it works just fine, but I've changed my e-mail address since I originally registered (long story) and don't have access to it, so I wouldn't be able to receive the new password.
Although... if you feel like sending a new password for my Yoda is your Father account to the e-mail address linked to this YIYF account I could use my old account and still be a Jedi Master ;)

I'm getting used to the look, and I love the new functions. Only problems I'm having are staying logged in, and getting my 80x80 avatar loaded.

Not exactly sure what you're saying here. You're having trouble posting images?
See the help page for the new forum tags.
Also, please keep the bug reports/feature requests in the
appropriate categories. Thanks :)

Ooh, does this mean we don't get email notification for every single post in a subscribed thread but only one until we visit? Hoo hoo! Gonna like this.
You'll still get one for every new post. I can add single notification to the feature list though.
I vote for single notification. I've got a hundred new emails for less than a dozen threads.

Congratulations on the new software!
Is there any chance you could bring back the old colors, though?
Working on it :)
The fundamental color scheme for "OT Old Skool" is already great if you ask me. However, it could stand to be modified to allow us to better distinguish post boxes from the background color and to better distinguish each post from the posts immediately before and after.
Also, is the text on the reply screen set to a static size? I have a high resolution on my monitor and I'm straining to read what I'm typing here. I suppose, in the meantime, I can increase my browser's displayed text size if I need to type up anything large, so no rush. ;)

FWIW, the text is showing up larger on my screen than the text on the old site.
And I agree, the colors are great! :)

RE: New forum software - please read!
Jay, 5k was okay for the smaller avatars from before, but isn't it a little small for the new larger avatars? I had trouble getting an image under 5k, hence why my current one is black & white.
Would 10k be feasible?
