Token Linguistics NerdBah. Everybody's upholding Christopher Reeve as the quintessential standard of who Superman should be, when Chris Reeve's Superman was really just a cheap knock-off of George Reeves'.

Pshaw!

Neither can hold a candle to Kirk Alyn and his perpetually bemused expression and dainty, almost feminine running.

South Jersey Devilnope, if I remember that comic correctly, he quickly has his hair cut and his beard shaved with the help of Krypto's and Supergirl's heat ray vision. I can't remember exactly how he got the beard and long hair, but I believe it was either by accident, or by the work some bad guy. So no, my mind remains unchanged.

Ointment FlyWhat? My posts have nothing to do with Warb. I just like the concept of a Bearded Superman, and I shall not rest until it comes to pass.

... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

What would Superman use to shave with anyway? Typical earth blades would break right?
Edit: I did not see the comic above.
