Jedi KnightHey all,
With the recent success of Star Wars Begins, I've found motivation to embark on the above project.
This project will be released on Vimeo.com in HD on the 6th Feb 2012.
Thanks

Better Grumpy than DopeySo, are you planning on highlighting the digital special effects fixes that were made in 2003 for the DVD release? If so, you might need a transfer of the widescreen laserdisc for comparison. I could probably help you out with this.
Probably also worth reviewing the bits and pieces mentioned in this thread.

I am ready for the trials!Might also be worth tracking down a copy of the 1954 Charlton Heston film "Secret of the Incas", as it seems to be a big influence on Raiders.

See You, Space Cowboy...Said film is available for streaming right now on Netflix if you can capture it. I'm very excited for this project!

Do you have the "bonus bonus" disc? Best Buy had a second bonus disc available when the set came out originally.

That disc was cut down from the Laserdisc preservation digitalfreaknyc did. That being said, I'd much rather see another Indiana Jones release from DFNYC.
What about one for BLADE RUNNER? Leon could be the missing sixth disc to add to the 5-Disc Collector's Edition. I'd add even more too if I had my say. 10 disc total, should include the already 5 discs from Warner, since I loving BLADE RUNNER.
Will this be dual layered?

No I don't have that DVD. Is there anything usable on there?
What's on that disc is on the full making of, but what's there is in slightly better quality, so it could be worth it I guess, it was seeded on demonoid last I checked.
Good luck with this project, looking forward to it.
We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Padawan LearnerI have that DVD, it has much more Making Of than the official Making Of DVD !! Go figure. It is my favourite source of bts Raiders footage.
Also I think it is progressive, certainly the freeze frame on my software player has no combing effects that I get when pausing the official Making Of dvd.
It predates the movie's release at the end it finishes with a Coming Soon (or some date) slide which makes me think it was prepared for insider / industry use and promotion. Then much later it surfaced as an extra disc from Best Buy. It has closed caption titles as well iirc!
You'll *really* need this dvd - I can burn you a copy if you like?

Yes, but I was talking about "The making of Raiders" not the DVD - extra.
