Heading for a breakdown
Merry X0mas and a Happy New Year!
That shot looks truly amazing. I cannot praise and thank the X0 team enough for all the time and effort you are putting in to this release.
Happy New Year everyone

I'm out of it for a little while and now I'm seeing images of grandeur. Can a DVD weep from image envy? I think I saw a few tears on my GOUT trilogy case. Stunning just isn't the right word. Keep up the great work guys!

Amazing work guys! Thank you.

Merry X0mas and a Happy New Year!
Wow - me in my infinite wisdom didn't even notice the date - I thought these were all from the past week, which got me incredibly excited (if slightly perplexed since i was sure I'd seen that shot before).
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone here and everyone on the X0 team - especially Laserman. Here's hoping you're feeling better, my friend - get well soon.
Whatever happens, happens.

Now I'm just confused. Is X0 using the GOUT dvds as a base or the laser discs?

Is it just me, or is ther more vertical image on Moth34's picture than the other two?

Yes, looks like there is a tiny bit on the top. The bottom I can't tell. His shot is missing information on the right hand side though (the guy there is cut in half).

The PAL LD's seem to be cropped differently than the NTSCs in a lot of shots. Then again, I've also found differences between the DC and JSC.

So, in every single version of star wars available, we're missing footage?

Well, it comes down to a matter of millimeters on your monitor. Plus most televisions have overscan so even if it was perfect you're likely to still lose a bit.

We're "missing footage" on every film that's ever passed through the telecine machine.

Wow - me in my infinite wisdom didn't even notice the date
If it makes you feel any better, I was fooled for a few seconds as well. I had to go to our other board to make sure I wasn't left out on something.
MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They're certainly beyond any repair you're capable of making.
MeBeJedi: You aren't one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can't say I find that very disappointing.
JediRandy: I won't suck as much as a fan edit.

It's our own private board, where we discuss what we are doing, what we need, etc. It's not like we live next door to each other, you know.

Well, I figured as much with the "living next door" part, but what are you hiding there?

We're just keeping track of each other's progress. It's also where we throw ideas around about what we'd like to be able to do. Sometimes we talk about you guys behind your backs as well.

I can't seem to find this article anywhere on the X0 site. Did Zion post this article anywhere or could someone please send it to me? I'm sure it would be very interesting and I'd love to have a look at it.
If television is chewing gum for the mind, then the prequels are the worlds first visual laxative.
