It's more prevalent than racism or sexism, more institutionalized, more widespread. It's bigotry against southpaws, lefties, yes, those who use the supposed sinister hand rather than the dexterous hand. Left handed people don't live as long earn less money, and are disadvantaged with almost every tool or object of utility: scissors, notebooks, writing most Indo-European languages, etc. How can we allow this bigotry to go on. I suggest that all left-handed folks on this site sue the US government, Wal-mart, and every other entity that has taken advantage of and been built on the backs of the poor, repressed sinistros.
Rise up, all lefties, and unite! Take what's rightfully yours. We demand reparations!

Therefore, I propose that all right handed people refer to them as left-handed-Americans. Of course, I heartily endorse such left-handed-Americans making use of the Latin term sinistro, such as in the following example:
"What's up, my sinistro?"
Along with that I need to rename this thread to Manusism to avoid any reference to the now taboo term.

I vaguely recall a classmate in the first or second grade being forced to go righty. It's sad such mindless conformist idiocy was still being practiced into the early '70's.
I was a bit ambidextrous before the hand police caught up with me. I still favor the left hand on some tasks, but can't write with it.

That's what I'm fighting for in this thread! Equal treatment! All the same rights (lefts) as right-handed-Americans, right-handed Europeans, right-handed Africans, etc. get.
