You could make a movie about a bunch of people in a room and depending on how you write direct and film it it could potentially be a very interesting and entertaining film.

that was done, and it is a very interesting and entertaining film.

also CUBE

7 complete strangers of widely varying personality characteristics are involuntarily placed in an endless kafkaesque maze containing deadly traps.

- while it wasn't all set in the same room, it was all shot in the same room.

look at Johnny Ringo, man.  If I had to go against that guy it would be an Indiana Jones\Dovchenko event - and I'd be hoping like hell for a bunch of ants.

Also The Man from Earth, though most of my friends hated that one because of the acting (so, they had the reaction I had to Cube).

Not advisable (though it has been done in the Dark Time*)

*A Doctor Who reference not a Star Wars reference.

I miss The Sarah Connor Chronicles.  MAN! what a great show...

If you lower your expectations, Terminator 3 might actually surprise you.  I was against it from the start, heard it was terrible, then was forced to watch it and found that I actually quite enjoyed it.  Not T1 or T2 greatness, but still above average.  And I liked Salvation as well.  Maybe resetting my expectations with 3 helped 4 as well... but harmy, you might as well give them a shot and make your own opinion.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

Yeah, I don't completely hate T3 as much as I used to.  It's not amazing, but it's not bad.  And Uncanny Antman's edit fixes many of the problems I initially had with it.

I still loathe Salvation, though.  The plot just makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, UA's T3 edit is really good.

A bit too short but much more watchable.

Better too short than to leave in too much ridiculous nonsense.

Maybe, I've certainly watched it more times than the official DVD but every time I keep trying to think of how to balance out the nicely trimmed nonsense with footage from elsewhere to make it feel less of a sprint.

At times it's too pacy even for short film.

Sadly there isn't much of anything in the other films or even in the television series that would fit.

I keep scratching my head thinking of other films of the period which might also be sources of material.

It is astonishing what a turn around his edit does manage to pull off which is why I find it worth the effort to keep thinking about how it could be even better.
