Magister Pontifex MaximusAs much as I loved the chat last night imagine how awful and impossible to police an OT.COM chat bar would become.
Let's do it.
Say goodbye, to all this and "hello" to Jason Issacs.

Child is the Father of the Man^We do have an IRC channel but the address escapes me at the moment. Also, I would have loved to be more active in the chat but the game is fullscreen :/

I am ready for the trials!Last time I went looking for the IRC channel it wasn't there. Unless we are talking about something different?
If there's interest in starting it up again, let me know.

I remember this game from when it was released. I think I still have it somewhere. Even though it wasn't that good it sure had it's fun moments.

The ROTJ collaborative thread is a wealth of ideas, both on how to edit Return of the Jedi, as well as how to collaborate in an edit. Emanswfan has taken leadership of the project.

Summer of 69er^Or when Princess Di died. Which was, oddly enough, the day when I watched ROTJ for the very first time (in French, no less).

My Heather Langenkamp avatar has decided to go on an extended vacation and may not be back for sometime. Not to worry, though, for she will be back - eventually.

Child is the Father of the ManLive again! Watch me do that annoying drag puzzle again.
edit: Twist just watched me suffer through the worst platforming I have ever seen. She'll vouch. I died the same jump maybe 20+ times.

Child is the Father of the ManAnd, with that. It is the end of this lovely stream. If you want to watch what I've done, game crashes and all, the link is in the first post.
If a mod would move this to off-topic, I"m going to be opening my livestream to broader topics. It'll still be games, but not necessarily of the SW variety from now on.

Unlimited Rice Puddingmaybe the gungan frontier or better yet the namco famicom starwars for other streaming?
"Changing classic movies at all is just wrong." Puggo
"HA, Ha, you r ghey" was probably a hilariously insulting comment in Elementary and Middle School, but its not cooly insulting anymore and its certainly not funny: it makes people who say it look like, well, an "inbred monkey." TheSessler

Disco Stu likes Disco music! If my computer could manage streaming a screen capture, and if I lived in a more appropriate timezone, I'd stream Rogue Squadron, because I love that game. It introduced me to Star Wars and I've played it since 1998! Memories, memories...
... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

Always played the pc port. I unfortunately never had a N64. I've read the two versions were pretty much identical, is this true?

Child is the Father of the ManPC version had nicer menus and probably controls more suited to its genre. It's been a long time since I played it. Plus, your usual graphics boost.

Disco Stu likes Disco music!I've played it soooooo many times... I got a few in-game lines memorized:
- "Is that my imagination or are those.... imperial probe droids! Dead ahead! They're attacking homesteads!"
- "Aaaaaaagh--- I'm clear but my fighter's down!"
- "Inbound fighters at 10-13."
- "I copy"
-"Maintain visual scanning."
- "Heee-haw!"
- "Raowr!"
- "Han, Chewie, what are you doing here?"
- "How you doin', kid? Thought I might give you a hand. This is my home town, after all."

Disco Stu likes Disco music! If you're talking about Rogue Squadron, sorry but they were two years away.
If you're talking about TPM game, nope, but Ric apparently was in Battle for Naboo.
As for Nute, rejoice: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nute_Gunray#Video_games

I would tune in for that. I only re-installed Rogue Squadron on my PC last night, got the N64 out of the loft and started ebay bidding on the memory expansion pak so that I can play both versions again. This is my favourite Star Wars game ever.....

Child is the Father of the Manoh Frink, you should have tuned in to my stream. I guess they didn't have the budget for an impersonator; Nute Gunray's voice sounds more like Ric than like himself.

Disco Stu likes Disco music! No, pretty sure it's my pc. That's why I wanted to do this test in the first place. Gonna try now the SNES emulator, with Super Star Wars. At least it's easier. And prettier.
