Magister Pontifex MaximusI watched the Buffy episode, The Body again last night.
Golly that is one piece of television that never loses it's power to churn the emotions.
Everyone should see this as a primer for the sort of reactions one has to the situation.

Magister Pontifex MaximusYou won't regret it.
I can't think of a truly duff episode, some are better than others obviously but the better are examples of television at it's best.
Not so much Angel though it too has some fine episodes.

Wait for me. I shall be merciful and quick.Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001)
This show was really hit and miss. Seasons 1 and 2 were very bland. Season 3 was an improvement. Seasons 4 and 5 were good and then it fell apart in season 6. The last season was okay. Except for the finale. That was garbage. I haven't seen a worse ending since Mass Effect 3. That show really needed a guide. Instead it just kind of wandered all over.

has been intentionally left blank.Hannibal - with Mads Mikkelsen :) and a bunch of other familiar faces.
Bates Motel.
Both prequels to well known film series. This should be interesting. I like them both so far.

"friggin midgit devil teddy bear"Just started watching In the Flesh. Nothing spectacular, but I am kind of enjoying it. With tons of stories involving zombies to chose from these days (too many, and mostly crap), it is kind of interesting to get a different angle on the whole thing, involving cured reformed zombies trying to reintegrate into society.

Magister Pontifex MaximusThe story reminded me of the eighties in the UK.
Divided by strikes, by sexual politics and Aids and by the Irish troubles.
People say that the seventies were drab, beige and nicotine stained. I remember that time being garish, plastic and lurid and the eighties were depressing albeit with a Barbie pink and black motiff.
Not a good time to be one of 'them'.

Magister Pontifex MaximusHannibal is the weirdest art show around.
The mushroom guy was the most disturbing thing I have happened across since the trailer for Human Centipede (I feel no desire to see the film, the trailer was enough to convince me of this).

Chief Architect of Cynical MoralityI let my wife know when Season 5 of Mad Men went live on Netflix Streaming a few weeks ago. We decided, eh, we didn't really care anymore.
Last night, we thought, we might as well see if its ok. Then watched half the season. Somehow it feels better than before. More coherent.

has been intentionally left blank.Really getting hooked on Bates Motel.
Checked out the first episode of Defiance. It's not bad but it feels like a mashup of Babylon 5 / Battlestar Galactica / Warhammer 40k.
Hopefully it will get better / more interesting / more original..
The effects are kinda hit and miss too, sometimes impressive, sometimes rather cheap looking.

Magister Pontifex MaximusSaw Once More With Feeling again last night on my slow journey back through Buffy/Angel.
It's still good but I think I've watched it enough time to diminish it's impact.
The Angel episode Billy still packs an uncomfortable punch though.

Magister Pontifex MaximusHannibal just gets better and better (it's has as much realism as Game Of Thrones but as a work of Telly art it's something special).

TV's Frink got me into the dark side of the force!Well in the pilot of Defiance I thought the doctor was a pretty good character. Lately though it seems like they've sidelined the character into just being in the show as little as possible. So I agree with you now.Johnny Ringo said:

Double standards!!I watched the Bafta ceremony thingy. It was ok. A lot of the clips from the shows intrigued me though, I might have to go and check some of them out.
I'm the forums younger clone of TVs' Frink. Except sillier and more handsomer...

I may have misunderstood what you were saying here, but Thrones is on the Telly as well.
