"friggin midgit devil teddy bear"Catching up on the last few episodes of The Walking Dead. Kind of slow this season. Still really enjoying it though.
Once I finish them, I'll go back to Breaking Bad for another season or two.

...this is even more tragic than 005 choosing Mad Men [a decent show] over Breaking Bad [the best show ever?].
I think you really need to rethink your priorities. I like TWD but it's complete trash when compared to BB.
:)
started checking out '2 broke girls' - There's a plot but it basically boils down to two girls wearing skimpy waitress outfits and other revealing clothing.
Catching up on Danger 5. Loving it - FINALLY an AUSTRALIAN production to be proud of :)
thinking about checking out 'the fades'...

Just a simple manI'd like to watch Homeland and Boss over the holidays.
I'm not sure if I want to give American Horror Story a try. It looks intriguing but all the promos give me a vibe similar to Lost - put as many random plot elements and characters into a "mythology" as possible to keep people tuning in and guessing at the nonsensical big picture.

Could've easily been ampersand7At this exact moment I am watching something called Virgin Diaries on TLC, which profiles adults who have remained virgins into their 30s. It contains the. most. awkward. kissing. I've. ever. seen. One of the profiles is of a Christian couple who saved themselves till their wedding night. And when I say "saved" I mean that the groom has never even kissed a girl before he kissed his bride at the altar. He seems so confused and scared by how his new wife wants to kiss constantly at their reception. I quote: "Right after we had our first kiss, she started kissing me again and it's just this feeling of like, 'What's going on?! Why is she kissing me?! What– uhh... AHHHH!! This doesn't seem quite normal...'"
They're eerily like this couple from the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall:

I agree wholeheartedly. I love TWD because it is a serious drama about zombies in a world where zombie movies tend to be intentionally ridiculous. It does get over overbearing in the drama though. But BB is ten times the show, if not more.
The reason I am taking BB slow is because I enjoy it so much, I don't want to burn through the whole series in a matter of weeks. So my plan of action is to take a season at a time, with a healthy gap between.

Chief Architect of Cynical MoralityI don't think I'll ever get my wife back into BB. She's dealing with a jury trial this week concerning a guy making meth, so she had to handle all of the evidence. The smell lingers.Johnny Ringo said:

Double standards!!Just finished watching all three episodes of 'Black Mirror', created by Mr Charlie Brooker. I thought the series as a whole was pretty damn good, it had a real 'Twilight Zone' vibe to it. Look forward to seeing more of this series.
Out of all three episodes of the series, I think I enjoyed the second the most.

The second episode to me should be expanded to follow the story of the girl who watched the protagonist. (she taught him how to get food from the vending machines, see her story as a THX-1138 thing, she's the one that gets out) The third episode seemed the most realistic, which is sad as it'll probably happen repeatedly when that technology becomes real. But liked the balls to the wall premise of the first even though there's several serious logic defaults.
Had been hearing/reading people talk about Louis CK. So checked out the sitcom Lucky Louie (HBO 2006?) and the current Louie (FX) (standup/segments). Having watched the later first, those moments stand out more to me. Also tried the Beacon show he's got from his website: https://buy.louisck.net/ Find i'm remembering the moments of the Louie show the most often. Guy keeps trying things, we'll see how that changes with this Beacon project hitting a million bucks.
The other standout from this Louis CD stuff is Pamela Adlon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamela_Adlon), who i've also seen in Californication. (and she's done tons of voice work) Wondering when she'll get the chance for her own project.

Chief Architect of Cynical MoralityConvinced my wife to start watching Stargate Atlantis on Netflix. We loved SG1, but SGU wasn't so great and neither were seasons 8-10 of SG1. Apparently those seasons of SG1 weren't so great because all of the good people were working on Atlantis. I really like it, as much as SG1. Rodney McKay is my hero.

'Blu, not Blue!' campaign supporter - the struggle continues...Really enjoyed the start of 'Sherlock's 2nd season. The first season of this 'modern-day-take' was of a very high standard throughout, and this first episode was entertaining viewing too. Looking forward to seeing what they do with their version of the 'Hound of the Baskervilles' in the next episode.
