Just started watching Breaking Bad earlier this evening, already on episode 3. I kind of like it.

Stick with it dude. It's probably my favorite show of all time.

Oh, I am going to. I am watching the last episode of season one now. I rarely find a show interesting enough to me to serve as more than just background noise, and Breaking Bad so far is holding my attention quite well.

The Walking Dead Season Premiere

The actors seem to have gotten much better. That was my only problem with season one. That and the awful CGI explosion. I never thought we'd get a GOOD episodic zombie series. It's a dream come true.

Also, Chris Hardwick of the Nerdist Podcast hosting the aftershow "The Talking Dead" Haven't watched it yet but I expect it to be nothing less than awesome.

The only thing that would make this better is a zombie Gustavo Fring.

spoiler tag that shit!!

FRINGE - I'm a big fan but it's been pretty dull this season, looks like things are about to pick up a bit.

AGREED! Very excited about what's to come. I had a weird feeling at the end of Friday's episode that [spoiler] is going to end up becoming a villain... I'm not sure if I really want or really don't want that to happen.

I'm 3 episodes into Twin Peaks, as part of my chronological journey through David Lynch's career. I've already decided this series is directly or indirectly responsible for every great television drama that came after it (and some comedies too). This shit is seriously inspired.

I decided to stay in the 60s after Star Trek and some Lost in Space. Now watching The Twilight Zone, of which I have seen very little. Thumbs up so far, and my growing familiarity with it makes "The Scary Door" that much better.

How did they get my old person pills?

Johnny Ringo's avatar
RE: Last web series/tv show seen

Not those pills frink....the ones at the bottom ;)

they are both AMC shows so it could well have been a shout out or maybe purely a joke.

My geographic knowledge of North America might be a little rusty but isn't Atlanta a bit of a distance from Albuquerque? - Although Merle did/does seem like the kind of guy who would partake. Hope he shows up again at some point.

I didn't think a whole lot of the season opener but this weeks episode was much better - the season break should have been between this episode and the last.

Hopefully things pick up, it's a story with a lot of potential.

Talking Dead the Walking dead aftershow for the season premiere eppy. Apparently peppermint soap makes mosquitoes go away from you. I didn't know that. Currently watching The Walking Dead episode 5 of the first season. About the pills screencap above I don't know, I don't watch a lot of AMC shows. So what is the shout out?

You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.

Best show on tv.

I'm currently watching Dexter, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire, New Girl, Bored to Death, Up All Night, South Park, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, and Beavis and Butthead.

I'm interested in Homeland, Boss, and American Horror Story, but I'll save those shows for the offseason.

why don't you [Bingowings] use your divine influence and....convince 005 to watch the show? ;)

and FYI there are BB spoilers in this here thread so be careful :)

Saw William shatner's 'the captains' - where he talks with actors who've been captains on star trek. It was...entertaining.

Avery Brooks comes across like a madman.

Talking Dead. The memoriam segments bug me a bit. I'de like it better if they stopped using it for zombie kills, and used it only for human losses.

I liked the episode of the walking dead prior to that though. Very few complaints.

I want to see that so badly. I'm not sure how Brooks can come across like a madman when Shatner is on the screen with him.... ;-)

New show by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, Life's Too Short just started last week. Having really loved The Office and Extras, I've been really looking forward to this. Just finished the first episode.

First thoughts: During the whole episode I couldn't shake the feeling I was watching Warrick Davis pretending to be Ricky Gervais...

The fictional Warrick Davis character of the show is basically Ady Millman and David Brent mixed together and played by dwarf, who just so happens to be Warrick Davis.

Star Trek: TAS (1973-74)

I got back into a Star Trek kick lately so I finally finished watching all of the original series(my favorite Trek). I then moved on to the animated series and just recently finished that. I loved all of it with the exception of one episode (The Magicks of Megas-tu). The show still retained that original Trek feel that I love. I just wish the episodes and the series itself had been longer. Now that I've finished with that I think I'll read all of the Year Four comics before moving on to the films.

In preparation for Ms Streep's performance of Thatcher I've been rewatching Andrea Riseborough in The Long Walk To Finchley, Patricia Hodge in The Falklands Play and Lindsey Duncan in Margaret.

Compelling viewing individually but seen together, in that order they are amazing whatever your opinions on the lady.

Ian McDiarmid makes a fine Denis Thatcher BTW.
