Let it Be...Naked would be perfect if the single (George Martin-produced) versions of the title track, "Get Back" and "Don't Let Me Down" were used instead of creating new ones.  They already had non-Spectorized versions of those three songs, damn it!

Also, I'd have liked to see the full version of "Dig It" on the album (though I'm not upset at the lack of "Maggie Mae").

My feeling exactly, all around.

I think I'll just make my own "fan-edit" of the albums and just splice together the best versions ;-)

Fans are clingy complaining dipshits who will never be grateful for any concession you make. The moment you shut out their shrill tremulous voices the happier you'll be for it.

You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.

I don't get it... that's definitely a Radiohead album cover. Is this a mash-up?

"Lover Of Mine" by Alannah Myles.

The song played in a dream, though, so I don't know if that counts.

I don't know if anyone still listens to A-ha, but I think they've put out some good stuff thought they're not too big in the US anymore.  Listened to "Time and Again."  Great song.

The ROTJ collaborative thread is a wealth of ideas, both on how to edit Return of the Jedi, as well as how to collaborate in an edit.  Emanswfan has taken leadership of the project.

The video linked might be a little scary for some. And the lyrics are something you'd hear from a serial killer... but it's a good song.

Scritti Politti : Perfect Way

Not really a fan but the other half is and I was amused to notice the Mario theme popping up out of the blue.

For some reason Green Gartside reminds me of Tom Lenk.

Skrillex : Kill Everybody

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won't last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you'll be able to project it on a 20' by 40' screen with perfect quality. I think it's the director's prerogative, not the studio's to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas
