Kokain - Rammstein

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won't last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you'll be able to project it on a 20' by 40' screen with perfect quality. I think it's the director's prerogative, not the studio's to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

God Only Knows (a capella) - The Beach Boys. Found Pet Sounds's a capella takes online, and enjoyed them all. But, of course, like the finished product, God Only Knows takes the cake.

Keine Lust - Rammstein

I always say they're the heaviest band in existence, when someone disagrees, I show them this video:

My mom is really into that band.

I don't really care for them, with the exception of their cover of "Heroes".

You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.

Went to see Cage the Elephant and The Black Keys a few nights ago with the most beautiful girl on the planet. It was pretty fantastic.

And to respond to the inevitable comment from Fink that will follow this post: I fully intended to post the last song they played, which was the last song I listened to, but can't for the life of me remember which one it was.

That is just weird to think about. I couldn't imagine my mother being into anything like that, but then I realized that your mother is likely only a few years older than me... which was even weirder to think about.

Umm, I need to go now, I have some crying over my lost youth to do... And when I am done with that I'll probably go listen to some Rammstein.

Don't worry about it 3PX. I highly doubt that you are fifty years old.

Your mom is fifty? And she likes Rammstein? And you're barely over a decade old? Crazy! I kinda want to meet your mom...

Oh yeah, and no, I am not fifty. Fifty is still a very long ways away from me, and if everything pans out according to plan I will never be fifty. Mhamahaha!

Basically, everything I like is because my mom introduced it to me. Bowie and Star Wars are good examples.

You already told me you are 27. I think she might be a little out of your league...
