Last Stage Play / Musical / Concert Attended

In the vein of all of the other "Last ___ ____ed" threads, I felt I needed to create one for the live entertainment attendees.

Let us know what the last thing was that you saw on a stage, whether it was a concert, a play, or whatever.

I saw Monty Python's Spamalot last night, the tour version. It was the "Holy Grail" with the songs from the CD I've been listening to for the last 6 years.

Hmmmm... which was the last one?  I tend to go to a lot of niece/nephew choir concerts and whatnot.  I went to a fairly nice one downtown just before Christmas... that might have been the last one.

I think the last play I saw was the first half of "Cats".  My office went for the Christmas party 16 months ago...  I was the only one who had already seen it and I tried to warn everyone off of it.  A few of my friends, my wife, and I sneaked out at intermission and went to go get appetizers.

I also saw a youth-theatre production of "Into the Woods" around the same time.  -Can't remember which was first.

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Saw a community production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" that used a lot of blacklight effects to show the fairies.

I've seen that play like 90 times. I think it's the most commonly done Shakespeare. How come no one does "King John?" "Corialanus?" (is it the "anus" part?)

Sorry, Boost.  Frink closed this thread.

Well, to be fair, anything you see on a stage after April 28, 2011 at 10:48 EST would still be applicable.

Got tickets from a friend to see Straight No Chaser, an a cappella group from Indiana University just north of us. It both the student group with special guests of the group with a record contract. They were incredible. 10 guys doing all parts, they were all super-talented and it was very entertaining.
