of Earth.I've been slowly reading Rinzler's Making of Empire Strike Back and it's starting to occur to me that I've been a big Joe Johnston fan this whole time and didn't know it.
IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Problem frink?? ;)He's a pretty cool dude from what I've seen.
Plus, he directed Wilfred Brimley's scenes in Ewok 2, making this thread even more Star Wars-y
:D
I'm the forums younger clone of TVs' Frink. Except sillier...

I am ready for the trials! That's one I haven't heard before. Was there some reason the Wheat brothers didn't direct Brimely's scenes?

Problem frink?? ;)From what I hear, apparently there was a problem between him and the directors, so the 2nd unit or something like that had to film all the scenes with Brimley in. Joe Johnson was heading up the 2nd unit.
To be honest, I heard about this from here.
It may or may not be true.

I am ready for the trials!Wow, can those guys go five minutes without using the F word? I don't think they have any real facts on the movie either.
I want those ninety minutes back. ;)

Son of the SunsI think he's cool as a creative guy but as a director he sucks. Jurassic Park III, never forget.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
