Youtube and Google + "integration" = complete suck

Apart from everything that's been talked about before on this subject elsewhere, I'll share what annoys me about it. They treat you differently depending on how you decide to "integrate".

If you choose to keep your YT name you're asked to agree to the terms of creating a Google + page and then you're asked if you want to use different or the same name across your Google account. That's it your Google + page is automatically created and it throws you onto an entirely different page than you were on before.

If you choose to use your Google account name(whatever that might be it doesn't need to be your real name) you're treated entirely differently. It's like a first class experience compared to the cargo hold experience of keeping your YT name. You get asked if you want to review your video content and if you want to make your video content private. You're asked if there are any comments you want to delete. You're asked to even see how it's going to look on playlists. Then when you get around to seeing your Google + page you get to choose certain things. You're asked if there's anyone you want to follow and you even get a step two to "be awesome". Then on your YT account you get three messages automatically. A welcome message to Google +, a message about first impressions of your Google + profile, and who to follow suggestions mine included the Nobel Prize suggestion to follow.

I have two YT accounts for different purposes so that's why I did both options. There's another option of editing your Google name to something else but I've not tried that. All in all I only did this because I feel like it'll become mandatory in the future. Moreover I feel that they're going to automatically change over accounts that don't do it. All speculation on my part of course. Either way it's really annoying how you get treated differently based off of what you choose to keep. I mean that had to be deliberate. Another thing is that you agree to the Google + terms if you keep your YT name. If you keep your Google name you're informed that a Google + page will be created but you're not directly asked to agree to the terms. So technically one of my account may not be held to Google +'s policies. That's a significant thing since the Google + terms open up your account for possible deletion if you're inactive on it after a certain period of time. A timeframe of about 90 days I think. So not only do they treat you worse they also force you to agree to terms that allows for possible account deletion if you don't log on every 90 days. So a few months from now some older YT video content could be completely gone due to inactive accounts. All because they want to "integrate" Google + with YT...

It sucks plain and simple.
