okay, nothing that uber special. but i was looking for it for quite some time now.
what am i talking about? well, the 1990 laserdisc of the little mermaid. now i have the 1998 thx ld + limited issue dvd and 1990 ld to create the best remux for this beloved movie. well, i still have to wait for the replacement blu-ray from disney, that fixes the stupid changes.
bd remux would include
1. original 1989 theatrical surround mix in pcm
2. original 1998 re-release surround mix in pcm
3. original 1998 re-release surround mix in dolby digital 5.1
4. 2013 7.1 remix in dts-hd master audio
5. 2006 home theater enhanced remix in dolby digital 5.1 - are you kidding me? get the f*** out of here!

Although the remuxes and all are the joy of most members, as a fan of the fullscreen versions of movies I would just love to see a straight laserdisc-to-dvd job...
Of all my body parts, I imagine my spleen would be overjoyed to see such an item...
