they both were man! the Bobba fett episodes that ended the season was pretty good. Not really neccesary to put him in though IMO.

My favorite episode was prlly "Rookies" where the comm station that protects Coruscant is invaded and in the end the clones destroyed it. "Roger! Roger!"

That and the first one with Yoda and the clones. I thought that was really cool how they protrayed each clone as an individual and not just some type of droid.

Any episode that involve the Clones as a main point are always awsome.

I very much dislike that show. There's too much political crap mixed with childish cliches. And the voice acting can be really annoying.

I simply cannot enjoy it. I sometimes give it a shot and download an episode or two just to see if maybe I'm wrong, but... no... after 5 minutes my brain starts to hurt and I get that feeling that I'm wasting my time on nothing.

The best thing that has ever come out of the prequels was the 2D Clone Wars cartoon. Now that was awesome and very well done! This? It doesn't even feel like a kids show...

I even like the Jar Jar episodes.

Maybe going a little far there....

Come on, Jar Jar was responsible for some funny lines:

Padme: Go back to the ship and call for help.
C-3PO: I regret the transmitters on the ship are out of order.
Padme: What?!
C-3PO: The ship has been destroyed.
Padme: Battledroids?
C-3PO: No.
Padme: Jar Jar?
C-3PO: Jar Jar.

It's an image from the old Tartakovsky's Clone Wars cartoon. That show was an incredible Star Wars experience.

Clone troopers were manly bad-asses with a very cool, precise, military attitude;

Anakin/Obi-Wan relationship was very well done - those guys seemed like they're real buddies;

Padme didn't shove her political crap down our throats;

There were little-to-no annoying kids in the whole cartoon;

No damn kid-friendly padawan;

General Grievous was a real villain - tough and menacing;

None of the droids were annoying;

The music was much more closer to the original;

It felt more Star War'ish (OT'ish) than all of the prequel films combined;

It didn't make me cringe - not even ONCE.

I could go on and on.... But the fact is - that show was simply AMAZING and I would love to see more!

This new 3D cartoon, however, seems and feels like a useless, cheap, pathetic rip-off from Tartakovsky's work.

This is what I think. You're free to agree or disagree.

I liked the original 2D series, but it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top in the action department.

Uh-uh, it's not. That's Captain Rex. Captain Rex was not in the 2D.

Oh, you better don't say that loud, or someone from animated-army.com will hear you.

So, the Mon Cal in the trailer is supposedly Ackbar. You know what, I'm OK with that. People in positions of authority in the OT should be prominent enough in the CW era for them to show up in random episodes (Tarkin, Mothma, Reiken, the guy from the conference in ANH, even Jabba).

Chewbacca as a random Wookiee captured is also OK with me (him chilling with Yoda leading Kashyyk forces is not as he is in a position with no authority in the OT).

Greedo and Sy Snootles being players in anything before the OT is dumb, as is Boba Fett, but the PT already made him a character so that's fair.

Lando or Han showing up will be the point where I turn off the TV and delete my scheduled recording of the show.

You know they won't be able to resist. They'll find a way to show a preOT relationship between Lando and Han and turn it into a love/friendship triangle with Chewy (or something equally ridiculous). If there is a way to bring in Han Solo, they will...and it won't be good. Even if it's just a way to sell Han Solo Clone Wars toys (which they will sell the hell out of).

The 2D animation show that I and haraldo23 like is definitely over the top but that's always been the style of the animator (who did an awesome job with Samurai Jack) so I was happy to Star Wars done in the same fashion.

The DVDs are OOP so I'm thinking of putting them up on myspleen as they are not commercially available.

I now picture WMN as a twelve year old girl.

 I'm a 21 yr old boy. I can still enjoy cartoons as an adult.

 And the Clone Wars series could be better yes. but it does have its good episodes. even Jar Jar is sometimes tolerable. it would've been better if it were live actors and not animated characters.

Just wait. After the Clone Wars is done, they go one to make another series called the adventures of Luke Skywalker. Basically, him growing up on tatooine as a kid.

It has nothing to do with cartoons and everything to do with the last "word" of yours that I quoted.

They will. Filoni already said to be against Han being in the show.

And for that Captain Rex disliking the show:

That's good news.

BTW, on Myspleen we have the d3c0ded version of the 1st season of the current Clone Wars series. It was played during a CW marathon and includes pop-up windows of background info and fun facts through out the show much like when they used have "Pop Up Videos" of music videos on VH1 or MTV (I can't remember which).

Here's a resized screen just to give you an idea:

Not sure why the screen is blurry but you get the idea.

That's interesting. I've tried to find those versions before, but couldn't find anywhere.

Do you have an account on Myspleen? They are all seeded. I think I put up 11 episodes but I'm not sure how many episodes were "decoded."

I hope he gets it on with that hot pilot friend of his...

And not judging, just saying - you really shouldn't call yourself a "boy" at 21, that is unless you intend to communicate something :pp

 21 yr old guy. oy! so literal.

btw, what is the URL to myspleen? i try to enter it in the address bar, but it can't find it

nope, just on myspleen.

I talked to the encoder on dejatoons IRC (great place, check it out) and he said that they only had 11 d3coded episodes on TV (all on myspleen). He also said that there were a couple that were only on starwars.com for a short time and then gone forever. He did manage to make Webrips but can't find them.
