All right, all right.....
I had this idea a long while ago, but never got around to it. My SW political affiliations are simple....PT sucks, OOT rules. With the whole DVD issue that has popped up, I feel that Lucas has spit in our face for the last time and I'm tired of SW, tired to the point where I don't care anymore and I will NOT spend one more penny on ANYTHING SW. I've even gone through all my SW stuff and purged EVERYTHING having to do with the SEs and PT. I just want to forget everything that happened AFTER 1996.
So, there's the issue of my logon at SW.com....
I want to do something special here. I want to go out in a blaze of glory. I want to get banned with flair and style. I want to PISS off everyone and anyone I can to get banned. I want to insult Lucas, the whole SW organization, the mods, EVERYONE!!! And I'm going to document the whole thing for posterity. Or cuz I simply have nothing better to do, okay?
So, I want suggestions, little phrases you'd like to see someone say, ANYTHING. If you've got a beef with a mod on SW.com, speak your mind and I will post it. Anything goes here.....I'm going to make one big post that pisses off everyone and ultimately gets me banned, hopefully resulting in me getting totally blacklisted. If I can, I will sustain the thread until a mod does come along and bans me. Of course, I will try to follow up in the Forum Feedback if I can.

Of course, I want to remain on good terms here though. OT.com is the best SW board and always will be.
And in closing, I DO NOT want to hear any crap from anyone about how immature, childish and retarded this is. Hell, I KNOW it is. But it's NOWHERE near as retarded as how we long-time fans of the holy trilogy have been treated in the matter of getting the OOT on DVD. It's people like me who saw SW as a kid and bought all those toys and kept the faith over the years that put George Lucas where he is. Argue it to death all you want but it is totally true, so accept it. It was my allowance money and my parent's money that made SW what is and all I want in return is some GODDAMN respect to the movies I supported for so many years. So please, allow me to regress in maturity in peace. After this, I will have nothing to do with SW ever again......I will instead simply watch the original versions and remember fondly what Star Wars was and not what it has become.

If you want to get banned, just sya that you think the 3 million figure for clone troopers is wrong, and doesn't match the scale of Star Wars that was established in the movies. Especially when compared to the quintillions of droids stated to be fighting for the CIS.

I was thinking more along the lines of....the SW forum is over-moderated and there is no such thing as freedom of speech. The mods there are all over-zealous wankers who are basically sucking someone off to be a mod. Then I can start in on how Lucas is not the genius we thought he was and that the PT is a bunch of sub-par films devoid of creativity and talent storywise. Then I can go off on how SW is basically a cash cow and that all the fans/sheep who worship Lucas should just keep forking over money and continue saying "Baaahhhhhahahahaha." Then I can launch into the OOT on DVD travesty.......
Anyone care to elaborate on any of that?

You should say that Lucas has only directed 2 good films in his entire life: Star Wars '77 and American Graffitti, and the luxury of hindsight shows that they were both flukes that suceeded despite him, not because of him.

In your initial post (or you might want to divide them up among however many posts you think you have left until you're ousted), systematically and logically go through every single beef you have with the SE and the prequels, being very detailed as to why exactly they suck and drag down the Star Wars mythos. Might as well spark a debate (i.e. riot) while you're at it. But at least if you do that, you won't seem like an entirely immature flamer. They'll just ban you because you're a dissenter, and we all know that's wrong and sinful in the good ol' US of A! ^_~ Dare to conform!

I'm liking this now too.......I could post some major stuff and infuriate a lot of people. I think pointing out the absurdity of how people are so accepting of the changes and lack of quality is a must too. I am really disgusted by how a lot of people are so accepting of these changes. I'd also like to gloat on the younger fans about how they "missed" out on good SW films. Sorry, young fans....but it is true. The glory days were a long time ago......don't sweat it though. They'll be more good stuff down the road....it just won't be SW, that's all.

Well......I knew there would be SOMEONE who would say this......so I can't be THAT completely detached from reality. I realize what I'm doing, so I can't be that far gone, right?
Zion, seriously man.....don't you think we're a little PAST the point of rationality anymore. The OOT has been butchered with more changes than we can shake a stick at. After fighting endlessly to get them released on DVD, we've finally gotten them, only to have them presented in an incredibly sub-par way that is genuinely insulting. To top that off, we've pretty much been told that nothing is going to be done about it and that we're "lucky" we're getting them at all. Then there's the prequels which are alos sub-par in almost every level except special effects. WE have been LIED to forever by Lucas, telling us that the SEs are his original vision, that the PT is his original vision and that it's unfortunate that we're fallen in love with films that Lucas considered "rough drafts."
I mean....come on man.....it's tough to be an OOT SW fan these days, dude. I think we've earned the right to cut loose a little.....

Although I completely understand what Cable X-1 feels like doing, I have to agree with this sentiment. I hope the irony of Kev posting right after that post isn't lost on anybody.

Believe me, I went through my own "get all my usernames banned" from TF.n, and now I'm happy just to let them wallow in their own filth.

Three things I learned from lurking at starwars.com. I lurked there a long time ago and, these were the rules before I don't know if they're the same now.
1. There's a limit to how much a post can contain of characters. I suggest you check that and, divide your post into seperate parts from that limit(in some sort of text program like word). Then, post each part as a new thread.
2. There are some forums you can't post in without the moderater approving a post. So, if you want to post it in multiple forums make a note of the moderater approval forums and, don't waste your time there.
3. There are moderaters that don't have a moderater status on thier username. I don't know how that can help you but, I thought I would mention it....

Life's not always a bowl of peaches. Sorry to sound condecending, but I guess I can't identify with this at all. I've been a regular on TFN for almost 8 years. I've never been banned, nor had the ambition to be.
