@ Murry Sparkles: Yeah, I know about the Han one, it should be fixed. The other is I think like that in the original.
Harmy i was checking one of you earlier you tube videos, it seems as if you have already fixed the Millenium Falcons jumpy/missing scene. Well done.

2. Actually I do plan to redo Empire (probably not using the Blu-Ray though) when I can get my hands on a cleaned up version of Puggo Strickes Back. But that probably won't be done in the near future. It may be months before ESB DeEd v2.0 is done.
What's the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.

I just wanted to first say excellent work! I unfortunately have to use the DVD5 version. I know that isn't where your focus is but I thought I would just mention a couple of issues. First, the scene where Leia kisses Luke for luck where he starts to walk to the X-wing fighter, the video kinda looks jumpy. The second issue is where Han says 'the shot was one in a million' again the video looks jumpy for a second. I haven't watched SW in years so I am not nearly as aware as alot of people here but those two things just stood out. Everything else to me looked great! Keep up the good work!

Hey guys
This is my first post on this forum. I found this from a post in blu-ray.com forums, as I was not aware of such a project.
I'm especially interested in such video projects, since it seems that even on the new blu ray edition, there will not be an original theatrical cut version with satisfying video quality.
From what I see in the screenshots, your work looks fantastic. I'm currently downloading it, and I'll come back with comments as soon as I've watched it :)
Best regards

Han D. Solojpeters, if you go to tehparadox.com, sign up and search for "Harmy" or "Adywan," you'll find what you need. I'd also recommend the work of dark_jedi's, whom you can also ask for an invite to myspleen, where you can find all my and DJ's projects as well, if you'd prefer torrent.

Awesome. I'm loving this community. You're like brothers...sniff sniff... And Jeff I am not named, but there are some who call me... James. After researching fan-edits, your names have so much praise (dark_jedi, Harmy) that you indeed can be deemed under-ground celebrities. I feel all special getting replies from the both of you. Maybe its cause I respect the concept of fan-edits more than anything spilling out of Mr Lucas head for the last 25 years. Long live the force...I mean...midichlorians...wtf?

Wow, that is pretty cool, Thank you, but you missed 1 very important name, Adywan, he is a GREAT contributor here as well, and a super nice Guy, probably 1 of the most helpful as well, and so is my buddy Harmy.

Han D. SoloI quite agree. I love this community, we work together towards a common goal. I'd also like to add, that we're a bunch of normal guys - I don't think there's anyone here who'd consider themselves a celebrity who is above helping other members, everyone here is happy to help if you ask nicely :-)

hey harmy,
love the latest clip. i noticed that obi wans saber turns from a rather vibrant blue to a more lighter blue. also vaders saber has a thick glow about it in the beginning and at times the glow isn't as present.
did you use different sources for the sabers at different times?

Yeah, I used the 97SE for some shots and GOUT for others. But it was all an incredible amount of work and the colours of the sabres were not perfectly consistent in the original, so I think I'll leave it this way (except for the overall colour correction in this scene, I'll be making some changes there for the final version).

Padawan LearnerHarmy,
A HUGE thank you! I just watched your versions and was amazed at the quality. Most of the transitions between versions were SUPER smooth, even on my 119" projector system. Love it!
This is the version that I have wanted for many years.
Thank you so much.

Jedi of the Mosaic FaithSo I didn't notice anything off with this scene in the 1.0 so I had the two play back side by side (browser with youtube on one side, MPCHC playing 1.0 on the other). As far as I can see, the main difference is much nicer contrast/brightness and no blue cast on the wall. Also, the lightsaber colors get less vibrant later in the scene; side-by-side it's pretty obvious. I think I like the lightsaber colors better in the 1.0 but overall contrast/brightness/color of the entire scene better here

hey harmy,
i agree with bilditup1. the sabers changing part of the way through kind of sticks out to me. I respect your decision and for people who don't like it i guess there is always v1 for them :-D
