Not really, no. It's going to be quite difficult as it is to master the BD without trying to make it a seamless branching disc.
Just an idea - please don't take it as a request or something like that, it's just an idea - what about putting the 1981 crawl as a bonus featurette?

Han D. SoloWell, I thought about that but it seems like an awful lot of work recreating the crawl the way I did the 1977 one just to have it as an extra.

Lucas: I am altering the film. Pray I don't alter it any further.
Fans: This film is getting worse all the time!

During my spare time I can't help but pop the DVD-9 of v2.1 in and, geez, it's almost hard to believe how good this looks. I mean, it's not surprising seeing that 90% of it is taken from the Blu Ray, but good God it's almost staggering. I can't wait for the scene selection in v2.5 if only so I can skip to the Mos Eisley sequence more easily. :p
So again, great work Harmy.

hi!
I Have the first spansih (mexican) dubbing... sampler here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubTVG1imwYo&feature=youtu.be
I live in Chile, South America, sorry if my English is not very good. I have the audio of the 3 movies. I'm adjusting to the versions "Despecialized"
hopefully be of any use.
The audio comes from old betamax tapes recorded at the time that the television broadcast here in Chile.

That's great--many prefer the Latin American Spanish dubs over the Castilian ones! Once you have synced audio for all three movies, send me the links! I'd love to hear them!
EDIT: And if you finish syncing audio for the first one before the others, let me know too.

^ I'd love to hear them too. Some here might even be interested in the Betamax tapes.

Very soon. But it's been "very soon" for a while ;)
Beyond that, we just don't know. Would love to hear that file, thanks!

I've noticed the (english, at least) subs in 2.1 don't work...
Have others experienced this too?

A légpárnás hajóm tele van angolnákkal. If you're using VLC to watch 2.1, there was a VLC-specific bug in the subs (flashing for one frame) which is fixed in the latest version of Project Threepio.
To see the ones in 2.1, you'd need to use MPC or a hardware player.

Ok, thanks.
What's the difference between Project Threepio and Harmy's versions, if you don't mind my asking?

Lost JediWell Project Threepio are subs for Harmy's DeEds. They're not separate versions.
"Let's face it, the Ewoks sucked, dude" -Hurley, Lost 5x13-Some like it Hoth.
Please bear with me if I tend to get too excited about anything or say too much, I have issues.

Project Threepio is an ongoing subtitle project not tied to any particular preservation. When Harmy wants subtitles for his project, he gets the latest subtitles that are available at the time. So Harmy's subs in DeEd 2.1 are equivalent to Project Threepio 5.1, which had the problems I was talking about earlier.
There have been two versions of Project Threepio released since DeEd 2.1, and DeEd 2.5 will include those updates (including fixes for the VLC issue).
You can click the image link in my signature to see the discussion thread, including release notes for each version.

Thanks again!
So best bet is to wait for 2.5 then. (I can do without subs for now too, tbh)

You can easily add chapters into 2.1 yourself by using Handbrake.

Padawan Learnermy 2 cents...
I dont watch any of my movies on disc anymore. I have my entire library of DVDs and Blu's ripped to hard drives, and use XBMC to play them back. menus and chapters dont have much appeal to me.
Sometimes I forget that there are still people that want fancy cases and menus. :)
I love fancy cover art, thats why I use XBMC. Each movie can have any cover art you could dream of assigned to it.
That said, Im eagerly awaiting 2.5, and love that there is an effort to produce all the extras, like menus.

Well, the GP was fairly easy (though, it's probably not perfect, since it's pretty hard with a blurry reference like that) but the X one I could probably try to approximate but it would probably be far from what it actually looked like with this picture as a reference - I can't even read the text (if I had to guess, I'd say it says: "NO ONE UNDER 17 ADMITTED / AGE LIMIT MAY VARY IN CERTAIN AREAS" but I'm just guessing).
Thank you Harmy! This would go great with THX 1138, as it was originally rated GP. :)
I can dig up a better screenshot of the X card if you need it.

Yes it was and 'Google is your friend'.
Edit: Here you go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_Picture_Association_of_America_film_rating_system
The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

What's worse George Lucas changing the OT or selling the rights to Disney

Will be malfunctioning within a day.Vader: "I want 2.5, not excuses."
Yoda: "Patience!"
Star Wars is the only case in modern film history where the preservation of the original award-winning version has been left up to the fans. That fact alone proves that Lucas is insane.

Can someone recreate the deleted Jabba Scene? from "a new hope" with? the actor Declan Mulholland in HD? The available version of a reconstruction is bad because you can see the stencils and the quality differences of the sources, also a color correction is missing.
And I also want to see the final version from 1997 in HD, with and without original cinema subtitles. If someone needs some source, I have a DVD Transfer from a 1997 German Laserdisc, with original German cinema subtitles.
And color correction & picture cleaning of the official Blu Ray deleted scenes would also be nice.
