There was so little activity on this thread over the weekend, that obviously we'd have to go out of our way to come up with something to derail the thread with and, in the process, keep ourselves busy.

So, Harmy, this extended silence can only mean amazing things are in the works, right?

Made a couple folks very happy by showing them 2.1 recently, and am still looking forward to a disc with menus etc. The comparison shots will be especially great I think, so more folks can appreciate seeing all the work that went into the changes. Still in awe of many of the parts, and all the tiniest details.

Actually, if I remember correctly, that poster (the BEST RotJ poster, and I will brook no argument on that, thank you - pissed no end when they stole it for the ESB:SE poster) was always coloured that way.  Strange but (?) true! 

And now back to you regularly scheduled pacing the floor waiting for feeding time...er, the BD release.

If by "they" you mean "Drew Struzan" and by "stole" you mean "re-used his own artwork" and by "ESB:SE" you mean "ROTJ:SE", then you're right.

It's like Jaws, which is translated in French as The Teeth of the Sea. They could have called it "Les Machoirs" (literally the jaws) but it sounds incredibly stupid. It takes its literal meaning and people might think it's a film about dentistry or something. 

Les dents de la Mer is not bad. There one French title that I think is better than the original, it's Deer Hunter - Voyage au bout de l'Enfer (Journey to the End of Hell).

However there are some that are so bad they give away the plot: Shawshank Redemption is "Les Evadees" (the Escapees) or have nothing to do with the story: Carlito's Way is "l'Impasse" (Blind alley or Dead end).

Quebecer here, you never see it referred to as anything except "La guerre des étoiles". It's definitely not just for the 70mm or 1977 release, its the normal name of the whole franchise. But then you will see "Star Trek"...

Hoping for a BD release by May 1st so we all have time to download before our Star Wars Day of choice - May 4th (May the Fourth Be with You) or May 25th (release day).

You know, I do believe I totally boneheadedly misremembered that poster so I'll eat that one.  You're sort of right - he actually didn't use it for RotJ:SE either, but used a different piece that was so similar it might as well have been the same piece.  So if by "re-used his own artwork" you meant "didn't re-use his own artwork" then yes, you were also correct.  Touche!  The point though was that the original RotJ poster had the blade colours reversed.

Oh, and, ummmm...I certainly hope that...ah....Harmy doesn't end up using either for this project, which is totally what this here thread is about.  There, that should keep someone's panties out of a knot.

I found another hungarian audio, from the 1995 Thx vhs edition. It is 1h56min long, so I stretched it for 2h1min what the duration of the deed is. My problem is, despite I synchronize it to the movie, a few minutes later it's being late again. Can you help me, to make that audio fitted?

It's off topic here! So if you want to discuss it pls do it in the technical section. But, in short, you have to be 100% sure that the speed is right. If it is, then you have to be aware of all the cut differences of the two versions, and do the syncing (strictly cutting and pasting) according to those.

The reference Harmy has primarily used for this is an IB Technicolour print if I am not mistaken. The colors in SW restorations are always a hot topic, but I'm sure most here would not be able to take issue with the process Harmy has used to correct. There is a comparison slideshow floating around that compares the original bluray and the various versions of the project.
