@Space Kaijuu: I managed to improve that whole shot quite a bit but there is still some inevitable blurriness around the Dewback.
Awesome. The bluriness on the dewback didn't really bother me since it was supposed to be off in the distance, anyway. For some strange reason, that guy talking to the stormtrooper just stood out because his lower half was sharp but his upper half was blurry and yet the stormtrooper he was talking to looked fine. I don't know why such a minor detail stood out so much when I was watching the scene.

Just out of curiosity will there be a set of comparison screenshots that help distinguish improvements upon v2.0 such as seen here? http://www.uloz.to/22762346/compar-v1-vs-v2-rar
Granted it's fine if you're still determining how you want the BD extras to turn out by then so it might end up being fun just watching v2.0 and v2.1 AVCHDs side by side and notice most of the differences until then.

Han D. SoloYeah, there will be some kind of v2.0 vs v2.1 comparison for sure.

I suppose, but the little droid isn't on screen long enough to get proper Torgo theme music going. Besides Tobor is from the Rifftrax to the Star Wars Holiday Special (totally watch it this way, btw), which makes it a relevant reference for a Star Wars commentary.
If your parents love you, they will buy you Tobor.
Someone summon me?
Close, but your name spelled backwards is Rabot, not Robot, and you're probably not for sale. Can you retrieve support modules, though?

Hey Harmy you said before you were working on a Phantom Menace Despecialized Edition. Any news on that?

Han D. SoloNot really. If I do it, than I'll be doing it at the same time as ESB.

GOUT suffererShouldn't The Phantom Menace have to be considered at all special before getting any attention? But seriously, would that mean putting puppet Yoda back in, or something more invasive like doing an HD Phantom Edit? Either way, it would be a shame if a prequel slowed down or interfered with the progress on the Original Trilogy in any way.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

I kinda like the Phantom Menace more than Return of the Jedi. ROTJ to me wasn't a satisfying ending to the Star Wars saga. I'm about to get killed aren't I?

Only by those members who consider ROTJ to be their favorite, myself included.

GOUT suffererBesides, we need Harmy's ROTJ V2.0 before we can have a satisfying ending to the saga.

When will this 2.1 version come out, and if it's the final version, does it cover the entire original trilogy? This sounds almost too good to be true. =/.

Harmy will release the AVCHD of Star Wars (1977) in a few days and the BD structure with special features will be released a month after. Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will come later

Awesome! Can't wait. And when you say "later", you mean 6-12 months down the road?

GOUT suffererLater actually means it'll be done when it is done, it is a lot of effort, which is all being done by one [great] guy whom is doing it all voluntarily in his spare time. Also, he is, thankfully, an amazing perfectionist. So, start hanging out and enjoy waiting for however long.
Also, I like your avatar.

Will the Blu-Ray version of 2.1 have the 1985 laserdisc remix?
We are trying to package this up for Harmy ATM. I'm hopeful.
Awesome, glad to hear it. How's that going? Been away the last few days, haven't been keeping up with this or the 1985 thread. Thanks so much for your efforts, and I'm sorry I have absolutely no skills to contribute to this! :)

I have the needed tools, but no means to get the FLAC file from the newsgroups. I've sent a PM to DM but no response yet. If you can supply it, that'd be fine too.

It would mean doing the same thing as for the other DeEds - that is restoring the original theatrical version in HD (the DVD version had a lot of stuff added and two or three shots replaced). It shouldn't be too difficult to do and shouldn't delay the other projects by any considerable amount of time, if I decided to do it.

Please do it Harmy Phantom Menace may not be liked but it deserves to have a theatrical release too. Why is PT sooo pink seriously Lucasfilm? I kinda wish you'd do AOTC too.
