About the -1 footage Harmy, can you say how much you've used?  Also since I don't think -1 is finished scanning and cleaning up the film print, are there sections of footage you don't have but wish you did?

Lots of times.  Just use muxman and imgburn and you can't go wrong.

I don't believe that will work because i use Mac to do much of my stuff now that my HP laptop is shot. Also i tried using imgburn once and it didnt work. Someone recommended multiAVCHD which I also tried using but the program failed during conversion. I did successfully burn a DVD on my mother's Dell laptop using ConvertX but the quality was a bit boxy. Truthfully, my trusted DVD burning software is Nero but that program as far as I'm aware does not burn multiple audio tracks. I should also add I'm not looking to convert the movie to a file to burn to DVD. Im hoping to just simply burn the original file.

Sorry, but what do you mean with "original file" ? What do you have ? The mkv or the AVCHD ISO file ? If you have the mkv file, no, you can't burn it on a DVD without re-encoding it, of course. If you have the AVCHD ISO you should be able to simply burn the iso file, but your DVD player has to be able to play AVCHD

Hi folks, I have a dilemma. My kids are reaching the age where it would be appropriate for them to be educated in the ways of the force. I'm 36 and was lucky enough to have the correct curriculum the first time around but on revisiting it in my twenties was exposed to the updated 'burping aliens and yelping Jabba' editions causing nausea and revulsion. I would like them to experience the original editions as I did but alas I have technical know how of a hamster and when reading some of these threads begin to question if the language settings have been changed.

So if anyone of you would be so kind as to help it would seriously appreciated. Can I watch these editions on my computer and can i save them onto the shiny discs to watch on my TV, if I can, how do I?

Do you know if your computer has a DVD or a Blu-ray burning drive? Most new computers at least have a DVD burning drive

We're trying to scrape the pennies together to get a new laptop and will make sure it has a writable dvd drive.

Should i move? copy and paste??

I just saw the MKV and compared it to the AVCHD file that I muxed from the MKV to burn ont a Blu-ray disc and there is definitely a noticeable change in quality so hopefully when the finalized Blu-ray is released that issue will be fixed. I don't really know much about burning Blu-rays other than following exact directions so it would be very helpful if Harmy were to release a step by step guide and maybe I really did not need to convert out of MKV before burning to Blu-ray?   My reference scene for the comparison was the lightsaber duel between Obi-wan and Vader

Huh chalk it up to me not knowing what I was doing. You made a reference previously to posting a step by step guide to authoring the Blu-rays in the best possible conditions, I would just like to say that that would be greatly appreciated and I hope that you are still considering that. Other than that I really can't find anything that needs addressing

Wherever it ends up being would be greatly appreciated also I don't think it would clutter anything up as posting a guide would end all of this confusion once and for all
