Hi everyone!  I also would appreciate an invite to MySpleen, can't hardly wait for 2.1!  Thank you very much!!!

Before I ask for a myspleen invite, what are the dates of the latest versions?  I found some AVCHD folders on my old NAS for IV, V and VI, and if I already have the latest, I'll forgo the new download.  I would like to be kept in the loop on a 2.1, if there's one in the works.  How do I get on that newsletter?

That sounds about right, I think it's safe to say we can wait a little while longer for BD since just being able to experience v2.1 is more than enough to hold everyone over. I trust that covers most of the crucial details people would be most interested to hear about, unless there's something else someone would like to ask?

If you plan on updating the Blu-ray DVD jackets remember to correct the RD-D2 typo for New Hope

Haha, who knows. I don't really care. Looking forward to the latest work, and I think it'll be pretty nice. Good compromise on the format. Let those who wish do a transcode etc..

As for a DVD5 of Jedi, who knows. Could always make one yourself with a little work.

Sounds like a good idea.  What's the reasoning behind remuxing the m2ts to MKV?  Is it for player compatibility?  

Is it possible once I download Harmy's versions to put them on a flash drive and plug them into my Roku to watch on my HDTV?

Excellent and perfect plan. Easy to remux to MKV but near impossible to do opposite.

Hoping some one can do usenet upload as for many it's the fast and safest method and for those of us who have SSL usnet provider connections the only way to make it untraceable to our ISP in order to avoid being throttled as per the new torrent agreements between ISP's and RIAA/MPAA

MakeMKV converts DVDs/AVCHDs/BDs to MKV.

AVI2DVD converts MKVs to DVD format

DVD Shrink drops the file size to DVD5 (if you tell it to)

ImgBurn burns the data to a disc.

 

oh... and Handbrake encodes nearly any movie format to MKV/M4V, while dropping the file size to a managably portable/streamable size without greatly reducing picture quality.

 

All of these programs are free.
