Hi, Everyone!
I went through this forum, can you imagine how amazed i was ?
A lot of Star Wars fans specialists, helping each other to restore the movies and... clean up strange George Lucas' "improvements".
As you might guess, I'm looking foward to see Harmy's Despecialized Edition but unfortunately i don't have a myspleen account. So, please can some lucky fan share me an invite ?

I'll continue to check this topic as v2.1 seems to be on the way. (and also ESB, my favorite, waiting in a film reel far, hope not too far away...)

Great site! Been following for awhile now. Kudos to the passion and dedication here. Brought out my LD copy of Star Wars to watch with my niece this weekend. And decided it is time to download the Despecialized Editions.
Does anyone have a myspleen invite they could send me? Please :)

Hello. I am totally new at this, but I was wondering why I needed a myspleen invite. I thought you could just download this from a torrent site? If not, I kindly ask for an invite. Also, this might have already been asked, but does the site that has the DVD cover art not work anymore? Again, I am totally new at this so it might work and I just don't understand how to work that site. Thanks!

The only NZB I found was encrypted, so I'm guessing myspleen is the only way to go?

This sounds incredible and great alternative since Lucas refuses to release the original, is there any chance of getting a myspleen invite so that I can have the privilege of seeing this?

The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

I dunno what search terms you're using, but the only copy of the 2.0 that's coming up was uploaded a few weeks ago and now has no seeders. I've come across the rest of Harmy's stuff at a few other semi-public trackers, but none of them are as well-seeded as the spleen.

I can't thank Harmy enough for the excellent print used. I had a few minutes last night to test the quality of the "AVCHD" (DVD9) version.
I was totally blown away. I can't stress enough about getting hold of this version.
However, I did encounter a few problems when trying to burn the ISO using IMGBURN.
When I started to burn the ISO file, via the supplied MDS file, I kept getting I/O errors.
I thought it might be the media I was using (Aone+ gold edition).DVD+DL
So, I used another. Same problem. (2 coasters!)
Now, I didn't want to run the risk of making another coaster.
So, this is what I did.
1) I extracted the ISO, using winrar to give me the "BDVM" & "CERTIFICATE" folders.
2) Next, using any DATA burning software (I used Roxio), and burned the above mentioned folders in the root directory of disc.
3) Bingo! I spun the freshly burnt disc in my stand-alone SONY blu ray player and it played straight off. I was an surreal experience!!!
...one thing I wanted to ask was, can anyone tell me whereabouts the layer break is please? (timecode). So I can check this. Thanks.
