Is there .mkv's of the ESB and ROTJ DeEd's too? or just AVCHD?
Can only find the AVCHD's on binsearchI do not believe there was an MKV release, just AVCHD. But with mkvmerge, you can very easily save them as MKV's
Ah ok, thanks :D Just didn't want to ruin the quality of Harmy's work, wasn't sure if mkvmerge would do that or not.
My ESB and Jedi file names end in .mkv but you say that that is not true? So confused

Han D. SoloWell, I never made an mkv of ESB and ROTJ, so you downlaoded something weird. How big are they? If they are the same streams as the AVCHD just remuxed to mkv, you could probably use MKV Toolnix along with MKVextract to extract the streams from the mkv and then use TS Muxer to remux to AVCHD.
Anyway, here's something new:

I could try to use those programs but I would rather just mux the original AVCHDs since I don't know if this weird MKV that I have is curropted in other ways. By the way would it be better if I asked you my questions in a Private Message as you can probably tell I am very much a novice at this

It depends on the source.
Also, the lighting in some of the shots causes the blue to appear more green.
Damn. It's different in almost every single shot.

Looks extremly beautiful! But, I have some questions: So why change now? Why the 2.0 DeEd had this lightsaber battle with greenish gray walls? How does this scene appears in the Technicolor reference?

The MKV's are from torrents. The only currently seeded torrents that I could readily find. They're approximately 6.75GB (SW/ROTJ) and 6.87GB (ESB) each.
I've run them through Handbrake, and it drops them to around 2GB, give or take, so it would seem that they are probably not compressed further from your AVCHDs.
I had assumed that the MKVs were yours, given that your OP on this thread says SW:DE 2.0 is available as MKV.

It's like it's quite possible that Picasso would have loved to use Photoshop for some of his paintings if it was available back then, but if you take a picture from Picasso and recreate it in Photoshop, it's not going to be the same picture and it can hardly be used to demonstrate Picasso's brush techniques.

Han D. SoloYes, the whole thing is now closer to the IB Print. I couldn't get rid of the green tint before without screwing up the sabres and skintones. Now with some better tools available in the newer AE I was able to manipulate the colors separately. As to the cyan color of Obi-Wan's sabre, like I said before, I put it in from the GOUT and there it looked like that but on the IB print it is much more blue than cyan and I now managed to recolor it without affecting the other colors in a negative way.

Also, Harmy, forgive me for saying so, but those 2.1 screenshots look really rather blue.

Yeah, Vader looks pretty blue (I get that he's reflective, but wow he's pretty blue). I don't mind the walls though. Isn't this scene pretty close to those "too crazy blue" shots from Verta's IB reference? Is it possible the Senator IB reference shots could help here?

Didn't Harmy say all those scenes were very blue in the tech IB prints?
I trust Harmy on this one. :)

A légpárnás hajóm tele van angolnákkal. This shot is from the Senator Tech IB print. Less-saturated blue walls, definitely black Vader.
Yes, admittedly this is from a camera with probable auto-white-balance issues, and who even knows about the projection, but still... I just remember this part of the film had some crazy blue problems in the 2.0 workprints and Harmy opted not to make it so blue based at least in part on the Senator reference.
