Gave the final workprint a watch last night and I can say without a doubt this is the best I've ever seen Star Wars look. Very excited for the finished version.

Are there any changes in this full WP compared to the parts you've uploaded before?
Otherwise I'll just wait for the final release. :)

Han D. SoloI've watched it too and already found over thirty shots I want to tweak.
BTW, I'd ask you guys to post any suggestions you might have in a form of screenshots from the WP (it gives me an idea of what shot it is without having to look for it in the file and it has the timecode as well for when I decide to work on it and I can just download the screenshots and put them in one folder and it will be easy to organize that way). Thanks.
Edit: You Too: Yeah, there are lots of changes. Especially in the earlier reels.

Chief Architect of Cynical MoralityJdownloader was only giving me 1 file at a time, downloading it at 50 kbs, then the rest erroring out saying the hoster was having problems.
I'm just going to trust that the workprint is ok and fight with uloz to get the final version.

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm going to try to get it a few more times, but I may have to wait for the final. :(

Hahaha, actually I made up my mind once Harmy said there's been changes. ;)
It's just that uloz is such a slow site sometimes.

I downloaded it in 30 minutes from uloz with jdownloader. Force start all the files

Yeah I also use jdownloader but sometimes it's slow anyway. But I'll try the force start and see if it works better.

I am ready for the trials!Just to be sure: Timing-wise 2.0 is 100% identical to the 1.0 Despecialization, down to every frame, isn't it? Because right now I'm syncing up the German audio to the 1.0 video...

Han D. SoloWell, there could be like one frame difference here and there.

Over thirty shots at the first look o_O
Is this... bad?

Han D. SoloNo, not bad... expected really. Over half of them were colour corrections and are already done now and the rest are mostly just smaller fixes but have to be done in AE.

Well, as long as it stays in sync with Hairy_Hen's 5.1 track, I'm good.
The German audio track is finished, I only have to convert it to AC3 now.

Lost JediHi. First things first, thanks to Harmy and everyone involved in the project. I am currently downloading Empire and ROTJ (Star Wars finished downloading this afternoon). Don't ask me why, but I want to watch the whole saga on my newly bought Blu-Rays, then I'll move on and will only play this release (and Episode III on blu-ray). I have a few questions: 1. How do I rip this to my HDD in order to add it to my iTunes library? 2.How do I add a French track, if any available? 3.I understood there will be a German track on the 2.0, what languages will be available? 4.Just asking this fan-wise as it's how I saw it on TV for the first time at 5 years-old circa 1993, but any future chance to see this version of the opening?

Please bear with me if I tend to get too excited about anything or say too much, I have issues.

Hi johnlocke2342 !
How do I add a French track, if any available?
I don't know. However I have some french subtitles for all three films if that can be of any use. They are in .srt format and NTSC compatible. Write me in PM if you're interested.

do people actually watch the SW movies dubbed? just wondering...

just seems like everyone would want to watch the actual actors performances. Not trying to be captain movie snob or anything. I just watch a lot of Cantonese language films and I won't watch if they are dubbed. Can't stand it.

Where am I????If what I have been told is correct, these releases by Harmy are NTSC GOUT synced. The official US NTSC GOUT release has a French soundtrack and Project Threepio have the French subtitles.
It is a relatively easy task to add those to any GOUT synced video.....
4 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 6 - 2

Lost JediI always watch both the French and original version of my favorite movies. Sometimes it gives you a surprise, like the swearing in my language in the English version of Matrix reloaded.

I can just speak for the German dub, but it's actually a really good one. Heinz Petruo is on a level with James Earl Jones and in fact, both are just dubbing voices ;)
