I've made up my mind. I am going to buy that real full functioning DeLorean time machine. It'll pay for itself in no time! I'll just use it to go toss a few hundred bucks in a savings account fifty years ago while I am on my way to go make Ms. Hepburn fall in love with me and make RedFive jealous.

This is going to be great! Best $50k I'll have ever spent!
The problem is that YOU won't actually benefit from the money, another you will in another timeline. You'll still just have a time machine. And if you try again, you'll just give money to yet another you. What you'd have to do is REPLACE another you, just as Marty did in BTTF. The Marty of that timeline went back to the 50's and he took over for him in 1985a.

Stop trying to play with my head, 005! It works like this: I'd travel to 1961 and invest the money, then after all my Audrey Hepburn wooing and Anne Frank saving shenanigans are over, I'd travel back to 2011 mere seconds after CP3S departs to go invest the money in 1961 and embark on his Audrey Hepburn wooing and Anne Frank saving shenanigans. I'll be able to go straight to the bank and cash in my investments from 1961 and use some of that money to pay off the loan I took to pay videobob for the time traveling Delorean.

See? Everything works perfectly.

There's something very familiar about all this. [/biff]

I just realized that this design is sort of an allusion to Marty's bag when he first puts the shoes on. See it on the hood.

Well, the Nike Air Mag has come and gone. They were limited to 1500 pairs and auctioned for Parkinson's Disease. You can pick up a pair on eBay for about six and a half thousand dollars. They don't even lace themselves :(

So when Doc Brown provided Marty with the 2015 clothing, he included some 2010 Nike Air Mags that he bought on ebay.  They were probably just taking up space in the trunk* the whole time.

Just watched the BTTF trilogy for the first time since I was in my early teens, at least I am pretty sure that was the last time I saw them... Wow... uh, I remember those movies being over the top awesome, they were a lot campier and groan inducing than I remembered. Kind of wish I hadn't watched them again and spoiled the great memories.

The first one is still pretty cool. It stands up to time okayishly.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming... Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

The cheap theatre I saw The Hunger Games at last week had a very interesting-sounding movie called John Crater of Mars listed on its marquee.  I wonder if he got that name because of all the craters on Mars.  Not sure what that has to do with Back to the Future, but I was just following Bingowings's lead.  And "Bingowings's" is very distinct from "Bingowingses."

The BTTF trilogy would have been better if parallel universes had been worked into the storyline somehow. That being said, they're still pretty good movies - the original is far better than the sequels, though.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

They really would have been better if they just ignored time travel and called themselves Forward to Tomorrow.
