Grant McCune has passed away from cancer on Monday December 27th. He worked with Dykstra on Star Wars and specialized in R2-D2 and miniatures, for which an Academy Award was won. He also was a Death Star Gunner in the film.

I am ready for the trials!Fortunately, a lot of these fine folks have been interviewed over the years. The best way to honor their memory is keeping the original versions they helped create from being forgotten.
I've been thinking there's a need for an online archive of pre-1997 interviews with key OT personnel.
Starlog was supposed to have an online presence after the dead tree version ceased publication, yet their website is in limbo. AFAIK, they did one of the few interviews with Sebastian Shaw.
