Ce n'est pas DuracellEnergizer^That pretty much why I think Roddenberry and Lucas are just two sides of the same revisionist coin. The only difference between the two is that Gene was far more subtle in his sabotage.

Don't know if this was posted someplace or maybe deserves its own recognition, but sounds like a nice Kickstarter in support of Peter Mayhew.

I am ready for the trials!Sounds interesting. I wish we could kickstart that book he was pitching many years ago that Lucasfilm allegedly scuttled.
I hope Peter will be up and walking by the time the sequel gets rolling. I can't imagine Han without Chewie at his side. It's like the Lone Ranger without Tonto!

Heisenberg for PrincipalIn the Prodigy song "Climbatize" the main drum loop was sampled from "Air Drums from Outer Bongolia" by English electronic duo The Jedi Knights.
Liam Howlett sampled the drums without the group's permission, and The Jedi Knights threatened to sue The Prodigy. However, Howlett already knew that The Jedi Knights themselves had sampled the drums from an older track entitled "Bongolia" by American funk group Incredible Bongo Band without permission.
XL Recordings, the Prodigy's record label, bought the rights to the Incredible Bongo Band track and threatened to sue The Jedi Knights. Media coverage of the event attracted film producer George Lucas, who sued The Jedi Knights for taking their stage name from the Star Wars term "Jedi Knight", which Lucas created.

"Take Me To Your Cinema"Found this whole awesome "Extending LP artwork" thing. Take an LP cover and imagine if was only a cropped version of the original image. There are hundreds but here are a few SW ones...

This one isn't SW but it is the best oe on the page IMO...

Yet, he's apparently left the bands Nerf Herder and Droid alone. Go figure.
I still marvel that Lucas actually got a copyright on droid.

Sometimes to get to sleep I put on RLM's prequel reviews. So cathartic. Or recently, What If the Prequels Were Good (that actually is quite good and worth considering for PT rewriters). If there was a willing artist, an animated or even still-image alternative prequel with good voice work would be awesome.

Just a simple manGiven the inevitability of the OUT on BD, I'm considering selling my unopened 2006 limited edition DVDs and 2008 box set. They're selling at decent prices right now and I doubt it will go much higher, but certainly the prices will plummet when the BDs come out.
Here's one listing I found. The individual unopened DVDs are listed at amazon by third party sellers for $55 or so.

Prequel Trilogy was supposed to be a story about a good man turning bad. In reality, it is a story about how a complete jerk (PT Anakin) turned into one of the best characters in film history (OT Vader)
