You can thank Doug Chiang for that. Leave it to George to hire the guy who takes pride in claiming that after he first saw Star Wars he ran home to redesign all the ships to his own liking. Have never liked any of Doug Chiang's Star Wars work. Not the ships and especially not the droids.

MADNESS, shear madness I say! How dare you sir, withdraw your comments or I shall seek satisfaction!
What did he design there?

Joliet JakeThat is a stapler crossed with a hair dryer, I believe.
... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

^ I always called my toy the snail ship when I was little. It was only later that I found out it had an EU name.

I am ready for the trials!Given the trouble I have with automatic doors sometimes, either my Midi count is very low, or I have no soul...
It's laughable that Anakin isn't supposed to be doing parlor tricks with his abilities, when we see Obi Wan using the force to open and close doors that probably have sensors or buttons on them.
Funny thing is, Vader levitates a cup of coffee or something into his hand in the SW novel. As he's seen doing this in the Marvel comic, could it have been in the script at some point?

Spaceballs later addressed the dangers of drinking hot beverages in a mask of course. ;)

Vader would have been so badass casually sipping his latte while force choking Motti. Dark Side multitasking. ;)

Prequel Trilogy was supposed to be a story about a good man turning bad. In reality, it is a story about how a complete jerk (PT Anakin) turned into one of the best characters in film history (OT Vader)

Ce n'est pas DuracellEnergizerI'll never understand why they decided to add the thing with the drink in the comic. Am I supposed to believe he drinks through the grill in his mask or something?
God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

Does it say anywhere, that it's his coffee?
It would be kinda cool if he pulled the cup out of Motti's hand while he was talking, as to say "listen to me you little latte drinking douche!" Then after releasing his force grip he could crush and drop the cup, implying that he could have crushed Motti just as easily. Would be a cool bit of visual drama.

^ Yeah, Motti would be drinking a Latte. Vader would be drinking a Macchiato like a boss ;-)

The comic was being done way ahead of the finished film, nothing was set in stone yet. Vader could probably guide the liquid with the Force if there was no mechanical straw apparatus in there. There did seem to be straw like appendages near his mouth when the mask came off in Jedi.
And I'm giving this way more thought than when I was a kid. ;)

I think he is hidden in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It shouldn't be too hard to find him ;)
Sounding like a broken record since May 2006.
