That's interesting! I was wondering where that was from. Thanks! :)

... And they had 'The Empire Strikes Back', the fifth of the four Star Wars films. He is fucking with us numerically, isn't he! "Children, count up to ten." "Four, five, six, one, two, three, ten". No, it goes, four, five, six, one, two, three… No, it goes: four, five, six. One... Two and three have not been made." "Two and three have not been made! What should they be?" "What should they be? We do not know. All we know is that there will be a big floppy character in it that goes, squawk squawk squawk... who needs a punch up the bracket!"

Pfff...you know they're building it as we speak. Trying to keep it secret.

I'm putting in this plug all over the place, but I have  become fairly convinced that the best prequel fan edits would change Ep II into Ep I, create a feature length story from the Clone Wars series for Ep II, and then edit Ep III.  Elements from TPM could be retained for the new Ep I, such as Darth Maul, perhaps even starting as Topher Grace did with the Maul/Kenobi/Ginn battle, and then reintroducing him as the primary villain for Ep II whilst giving more background to Grievous.  I know that there would be a jarring change in styles from live action in Ep I to CGI in Ep II and then back in Ep III, but I think it could really make a more congruent story.  Since the series may be wrapping up fairly soon, I have high hopes that someone would consider that route.

How does the Clone Wars show compare with the version Genndy Tartakovsky made?  Because I thought his version was the only truly great thing to come out of this whole prequel mess, and makes for a darn fine Ep II if one goes that route.

That it's not ironic makes it ironic.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

As mentioned elsewhere, one of those was the first album I ever paid money for (my mum noticed it was cheaper than the gatefold John Williams OST that was doing slightly better business).

It introduced me to Sir Arthur Bliss and it's got a rather fun Doctor Who theme interpretation (those horns just after the middle 8 are something Murray Gold should have a thought about).

Admittedly it looks more like the Hagia Sophia than Jabba's palace but as Islam pinched it off of the Byzantine Christians surely they should be more offended.

That is one of the most depressing pictures I've ever seen. No joke.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

I wish that I could just wish my feelings away...but I can't.  Wishful wishing can only lead to wishes wished for in futile wishfulness, which is not what I wish to wish for.
