What programs had references? I've noticed a bunch, but I watch too much tv and am spotting them all the time. Eastbound and Down, Whitney, Big Bang Theory, Chelsea, Comic Book Men, Colbert, Daily Show, Todd Margaret in the last month or so.
Big Bang Theory and Eastbound and Down are the ones I remember from last week. This week 30 Rock and Archer.

Just a simple man.Why did we never see Ewok slave labour camps in ROTJ? As far as we knew from the film alone, the Empire never really bothered them (in fact, one could go so far as to say they coexisted peacefully because I assume the Empire knew about them and deemed them not a threat), possibly even had good relations with them.
They should have thrown in some forest-clearing scenes or something where AT-AT's step on Ewok orphanages or stormtroopers dump toxic waste into Ewok wells or something so we could actually feel like they were being wronged in some way. As far as we know, the Rebels just showed up and took advantage of them by using the poor little bastards as meatshields to attack a far-superior Imperial ground force to lessen the casualties of the Rebel saboteurs.

Magister Pontifex MaximusI guess once the station was complete they would test fire it on a nearby world.
Like the one they had been orbiting around while building the thing.
I prefer to think that the Ewoks have been kicking the Imperials in the arse since the moment they arrived.
It's the only explanation for all those instant booby traps.
Jerjerrod probably needs more men because the Ewoks keep eating them and he is too frightened of Vader to admit it.

Something like this?

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

Just a simple man.Yeah, but less fucking retarded and in the movie and not drawn by someone who's never seen Stormtrooper armour/weapons in their life.

I am ready for the trials!I haven't seen stormtroopers drawn that off model since the 70's. ;)
The fan film "The invisible enemy" is probably the definitive Ewok first contact story.

Son of the SunsJust bought a new imported Swedish SW box of ice cream sticks. It features ROTS Vader on the box but otherwise there's nothing PT or TCW related so had to buy one box for a tasting.
It's been over 12 years since I've eaten SW ice cream, last time was TPM ice cream and I ate many of those even though they weren't that great, LOL. When they interviewed the guy first in line for TPM at Chinese Theater in L.A., he told that someone here scanned the wrapper for him as they didn't have them in the US, which was pretty cool in 1999. I still have that on tape. :)

Well, I've tried them now... And they're not that great, haha! Too much liquorice/salt liquorice on it... Still 7 to go...

Yesterday I went to see Titanic, and I got to the theater early enough to see those trivia videos/advertisements they play before the trailers. One trivia video was about the various people considered for the role of Han, and they actually played some short clips from Star Wars and Empire up on the big screen! Was awesome to see (I'm sure they were the SE's but I was too surprised to really notice).

I lament I never tried the Episode III Pop Tarts. But "Lava Berry Explosion" conjures up graphic imagery from the movie I don't need during breakfast.
Was anyone ever brave enough to try that infamous sith burger a while back?

Chief Architect of Cynical MoralityRob Paulsen, voice actor, has a podcast where he talks to and about other voice actors. In the latest episode, they were talking about their talented friends, and Corey Burton came up, the guy who does the voice of Dooku for The Clone Wars. They said how the first few episodes were ready and Lucas wanted to put them in the theater, so they brought in Christopher Lee to redo Dooku's voice and he apparently after hearing Burton's dub said "What do you need me for, apparently I've been here already."
Just thought that was neat.
