Yes. I forgot to sign in. Realized it after the fact.

Not sure why my asking for examples/proof would ban me. Oh wait...

RE: Article About Star Wars Prologue On DVD

That strikes me as a dumb reason to ban someone without any notice.  I basically said the same thing, but am allowed to stay because I signed in first? (I'm guessing)

Wouldn't it make more sense to just prohibit guests from making comments?  Plenty of places do that anyway.

Has there been a LAST series? Or do you just mean last season?

Yeah, sure. Last season. Whatever. It still sucked.

TV's Frink said:

And why would you get banned on a Star Trek forum for talking Doctor Who smack?

mrbenja0618 said:

And why go on a Star Trek or Doctor Who forum period? ;)

It's a long story...

STAR WARS EPISODE 2.8 - known as Greenpenguino's best Star wars sequel script, EVA!!!! SEQUEL SEQUEL!

I'm the forums younger clone of TVs' Frink. Except sillier...

DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!

And...I've been banned.  No warning, no explanation, just *poof* and I'm gone.

Don't even know what I did.

Well, what's his nutz was saying he'd discuss this stuff when Anti-Matter returned. My guess is as soon as he got caught up on the goings-on, it was a simple decision for him. In all likelihood, based on what we've seen from their site, I suspect he would have squashed this little test of yours at the beginning if he had been there.

Oh, and they removed my edit listing as well.

I left a comment on the article page (now reopened, apparently) requesting some information.  I predict it will also be removed without comment.

You're probably right... It's terrible that they removed your edit as well.

It's not that two or three guys with beef against this site and FE.org make their own little sandbox, it's that there will be genuine enthusiasts for this little hobby who will find that site and not realize that it's just a lonely closet of the playroom.

That's too bad.

Just an update to close the book on this thing:

An Error Has Occurred! Sorry TVs Frink, you are banned from using this forum!
Your display of animosity toward this community is non-productive.

  • Anti-Matter : That's ok, because several people already guessed that for you in advance. Nice try at face saving, though.
  • TVs Frink : Darn it, sorry for the double post. Anyway, if you guys are so sure I'm nothing but a troll, then I guess I don't care to be here anyway.
  • TVs Frink : If you're talking about the ot.com thread, I already admitted I did too much sniping, and i changed the thread title as a result. You'll see that I also changed my tone in that thread after the PM conversation with the site admin here.
  • TVs Frink : If you're referring to the ot.com thread about the Prologue article, I already mentioned I did too much sniping there. And I changed the thread title. Check the dates of the conversation - I softened my tone a lot after the PM discussion with the site ad
  • Logan-5 : ...at the other website. Your true passion and intent was there for everyone to see.
  • Logan-5 : Basically, anders alerted the mods when he found your "nice" thread here, because he couldn't believe we had been so duped. I guess you had some conversation recently with an administrator, which turned out to conflict with your continued behavior at th
  • TVs Frink : I'm sorry, but I can't even access the public forum...I just get the "banned" message. If you could please give me more information, I'd appreciate it.
  • Logan-5 : The answer is in your SW thread, which got moved to a more public area. You should be able to read it. I fully agree with the decision. You are so two-faced.
  • TVs Frink : Could someone please contact me - I would sincerely like to discuss my banning. Thank you.

Huh?

Do people around here realize that Tv's Frink actively spews hatred for this website at originaltrilogy.com ?

I can't believe what I'm seeing!

TV's Frink's ulterior motives warrant removal

We were skeptical after similar accounts, but gave him the benefit of the doubt following a 23 August correspondence in which he stated:

"Ultimately, I would enjoy it a great deal if there was a thaw in relations between the sites. I really believe there is no need for competition or sniping (of which I am plenty guilty, I admit) and we can all get along."

We see now that those words were insincere and that our original concerns were correct. We also note that this user has maintained a high login frequency on a daily basis, greater than the frequency of new content normally generated here, and yet he has never updated this thread nor his project page during that time. There is very little evidence that he is here to contribute to this community, but there is plentiful evidence that his purpose here is malicious and spiteful.

We are therefore terminating TVs Frink account privileges and will close this thread to further discussion.

Also, my avatar was changed to a picture of a rat, and my IP addresses have been blocked...

I'm not surprised at any of this...but might these guys be the most humorless dicks in the history of the internet?

At any rate, I hope they enjoy their little community of 5 people who just pat each other on the back once every few days.

I can't remember, but I don't remember it being terribly unflattering.  Anyone who isn't IP blocked can see it since it's in the general section of the forum - a repost here would be worthwhile.

Pat each other on the back? Based on what I've been reading here about these losers, it's more like "furiously stroking each other in a circle-jerk." The pettiness and mean-spiritedness of some corners of the Internet never ceases to amaze me.

There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who do not.

Spicediver is a really talented guy.

His Exorcist III edit is probably the best that can be done with the existing footage.

But it does seem like a virtual bedroom where Anti-Matter and his small group of users can say bitchy things about Adywan and FE.org.

I forgot to mention how much I LOL'd at this:

given this.

(not to mention that days often go by there without a single post)

I notice they also accuse Jay of only allowing the 'greedy free hard disc' grabbing Adywan to stay on here because of all the traffic the Revisited series brings here.

How can that be?

Frink hardly posts on either of those two threads and as we all know Frink is 90% of all traffic on here :-D
