Slayer of DeaditesThe workprint just seems so unique... all the various music just makes it seem more fulfilling and somewhat of a statement that this is DEFINITIVE sci-fi: all the best ideas brought together. I also like Roy's introduction. However, the best part is that alternative rooftop voiceover, which always should have been in the movie...
Alternatively, I also like the Domestic Theatrical Cut... feels a tad bit more styilized and noir-ish with that awesome narration.

How could you possibly put Terminator 3 above Salvation. Terminator Salvation is the greatest movie ever. Right up there with Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo.

As bad as Salvation was, I kind of enjoyed it. I actually haven't seen the majority of the movies of my "Top Ten" movies, but the ones I have seen are all movies I consider superlatively bad. Terminator 3 is one of those movies I truly loath. Just thinking about it makes me squirm in my seat a bit.

Terminator: Salvation, despite its many various and serious flaws, was a better movie in my opinion, but I think Terminator 3 is more in line with the original two, stylistically and in storytelling. Neither come close to Terminator 2, of course.

"friggin midgit devil teddy bear"When I first saw T3, the only thing I could think about was how stylistically it didn't fit with the first two films at all, and what stupid crappy humor it contained. Oh yeah, and how much of a loser John Connor was.
Terminator 3 followed the tired formula, but failed to get right anything that made the first two good.

Ce n'est pas DuracellEnergizer1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. Star Wars
3. Stargate
4. Army of Darkness
5. Highlander
6. Return of the Jedi
There, that's all I can come up with. I don't really have a top ten - hell, I don't really have top favourites at all; there are just too many movies that I think are of more-or-less equal quality that I can't decide between them. I guess you could say this list is based on my past opinions more than anything else.
God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

9. Cool Hand Luke
10. Mad Max
That's being as honest as I can. It's a hard job listing them all.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won't last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you'll be able to project it on a 20' by 40' screen with perfect quality. I think it's the director's prerogative, not the studio's to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas
