Another thing to file away for future use. The 1978 SW knockoff, Message From Space has a final battle that is amazingly like the Death Star run in ROTJ. I almost believe George saw it, and showed it to his ILM guys.

So, it might be funny to recut the entire final attack with shots from MFS. It's a bit easier to find on DVD now than when I got a copy a few years back.
