Magister Pontifex MaximusAnother thought that popped in there was replacing Mace Windu's voice with the generic teacher voice from the Peanuts cartoons during his Jedi audition.
In fact the Peanuts kids would make for fine replacement dialogue for most of the children in the film.
Say goodbye, to all this and "hello" to Jason Issacs.

Has a smile 12 parsecs wideWell it's about time you made some sort of useful contribution on these boards Frink :) This edit promises to be pretty funny. I love the original "continually falling" Obi-Wan clip, but so-so on the second one (where he falls, jumps back up, falls, etc.).
One way you could follow up on the first clip would be to modify Obi-Wan's jump so that instead of landing on the walkway, he actually overshoots it. Then we could see him repeatedly fall down the other side (i.e., just flip the previous falling shot).
I hope that made sense.

I like this a lot. I'm just not sure the flipped shot alone would be convincing enough. I'll take a look.

Has a smile 12 parsecs wideHere's a quick little series of still images to visually convey the idea (I'm assuming this would be rather simple to do in a video editing suite, but I've never done anything but photo editing, so what do I know?):

Likes Lens FlairsUnfortunately I don't know how to rotoscope (if that's the right term) in Vegas.
Also, I just noticed 005's new user title :-)

OT's bucketbotIt's too bad there isn't a way to merge this thread with the one at FE.org, cuz people are probably missing some great suggestions and clips on both sides...
I love the idea of a Ronto blocking the desert fight. And I LOVE corellian77's idea up there. Worth learning how to do it, I'd say. :) Or maybe someone else could make it using the same video settings and whatnot and you could shoehorn it in?

I don't know that it would be worth learning. I'm guessing Vegas can't do it and I'd have to buy something like After Effects. Plus the time involved...
If someone else wants to give it a shot and render it out to a format Vegas can work with, I can insert it and see how it plays. But to be clear - I'm not asking/demanding for this to be done, I think the edit will survive without it ;-)

The visuals are my favorite part. The Jurassic Park scene at the first and the Austin Powers bit, the car racing... Brilliant.

Making the prequels watchable, one frame at a timeOk frink, just some different options for the Jedi duel. Nothing ground breaking audio and cut wise. Just basic layouts.
