Forgive me if this is discussed elsewhere, I couldn't find a reference to it.

One thing I've noticed -- and this is a *very* minor nit to be picking -- when I get an email notification of a new post to a topic I'm watching, the provided link takes me to the first page of the topic. If there was some way to (preferably) take me to the page that contains the post I'm being notified of, or (alternately) take me to the last page of the topic, I think it might be a bit friendlier. It's just a thought; obviously it's not a huge deal to click the "last page" button when I get to the topic.

Before you know it, (read: NOT 6 months from now) we will be using the new forum software. We can hope that Jay will consider implementing this if he hasn't already.

Already implemented in the new software. The notification e-mail contains a link that goes directly to the post, a second link that goes to the first page of the topic, and a link to cancel your subscription.

And it's definitely not six months away

RE: E-mail links
I don't mind where a link directs me in a thread so much as how it doesn't say what the thread is. All it says is "originaltrilogy.com forum topic update notification." I could really do without the vagueness! ;)

Oops, I think I put this in the wrong section.

...and it appears we can't delete posts, either.

The e-mail body contains the title of the topic. So you want it in the subject as well?
