I'd love to know what the heck was going on in here.
Are you talking about my avatar changes?
Current avatar (you may need to refresh your cache)
Also, Leonardo briefly was using one of my old Frink avatars, which is what encouraged me to change mine. Since he changed away from a meme (Struttin' Leo), I changed to one (Sad Keanu) in response. And now I've got a less sad, more current meme (Witch Candidate).
I was referring more to Darth Solo post(post 41 of this thread), which was edited before I read it, and the responses to it.

Oops. I should know better than to not quote Darth. He said we should have more than one moderator.

c'mon... everyone is guilty of going off topic at one time or another.
If that is meant for me, then I agree that I am guilty of this too, but I do try to stay on topic in the project threads.
Nope. What I meant to say was 'sigh'.

Magister Pontifex MaximusBack then I think it was more to do with people bad mouthing each other over their opinions regarding the PT and SE.
The few people who do that on here now tend to be very mild and open and usually come on here to be critical of any anti SE, PT sentiments rather than the other way around.
Or point out what they see as a paradox that OT.COM has an active fan edit community including alternate versions of the SE like (and probably more specifically) Ady's.
I personally haven't noticed it being particularly personal or cruel either way (well not for a long while).
With the possible exception of the Jedi93 business which ended in his banning (probably again for I smelt the undeniable wiff of sock there).
The only instances of rude and personal attacks I've recently witnessed have been on the off topic section with the possible exception of Jedi Temple's elephant gun posts and the reactions to them and most of them seem rather light hearted.
I've caught the occasional reference to OT.COM on places like FORCE.NET that have been rather nasty and most of those have been in the same vein (fan edits bad... SE good... PT good... can't see what the OT crowd are complaining about... George is a saint etc) and they haven't been remotely contested by their moderators.
I still maintain that any bad rap this place gets is from Lucas shills and blind devotees or based on little bumps the boards have had in the past which are long behind them.
