DVD Covers by What Plans?

Hello all.  I noticed this section of the forums a few days ago and tried to find the artwork to my Star Wars DVD covers from a few years ago.  Sure enough, they were still on my old computer.  Everytime I pull out Adywan's Revisited (I used to keep the actual movie DVDs in there, but have since reserved them for the Revisited series) I get comments on how cool they look, so I thought I would share.

These were the first DVD covers I ever made.  As you can see, they are in Aurebesh and I only made covers for the original trilogy.  I lost the Photoshop files and only have the JPEGS, so I wouldn't be making any for the PT.  I really prefer a simplistic approach to DVD designs and, although I do love some of the other poster-like approaches, those are just too busy for me.

I would be more than happy to email you the artwork for printing if anyone is interested.  At the very least, I hope you guys like the pictures :)

RE: DVD Covers

So after posting these, I was determined to see what the covers would look like with the traditional logo.  Rather than starting from scratch, I looked through my old USB drives.  I didn't find the exact file, but I did find a basic layer of the ROTJ cover.  It had the artwork with the red color and the writing was a seperate layer.  So it was easy enough to match the blue and purple colors to the JPEGS and I switched the writing to English.  So now I have files in both English and Aurebesh if anyone is interested.

I don't know why that dark rectangle appears toward the bottom left of the DVD covers on the last picture... or why the font on the side of the boxes appears to darken toward the bottom.  Those must have been added by the program I used to display the cases.

And that's my digital signature on the back covers too... in case anyone was curious what that was :P

I seriously hope I will live enough to see the original Star Wars trilogy in this quality
You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.
