Yep I did it today, it is on that site
I found it and grabbing it, but would have much rather had the 6 mono wav files instead, but this will do.
Working with the 97 SE Trilogy files was actually pretty fun, can't wait to hear them while watching our SE Blu's

If you make ISO's of the Independence Day discs, let me know. I'd love to have the set for the archive.

I should be able to create an ISO. I am having trouble uploading or seeding anything on the spleen...haven't quite figured it out but once I do, I can put it there.
With all those trailer discs, it could be fun to possibly do some trailer preservation too. I know there are a couple I'd love to work on if I had the tools and the skills.

Jedi KnightCan i also request Clear And Present Danger 1994.
It is not on the Laserdisc or the Blu ray. They were dolby ac3. Not the DTS. Sadly that means no laserdisc source so much harder to find the cinema dts discs.
Was the Matrix 1999 BD audio Dolby True HD basically the DTS in that container or is that also another track that is lost?

Your request has been added. First Contact is found.
As for the Matrix BD, I am not qualified enough to answer that though there may be someone here who can.

Tauntaun herder-Damn Fool Idealistic CrusaderI think The Matrix is in a similar situation with other Warner 90's titles such as the later Batman films. Dolby and DTS releases theatrically, Dolby on LD, and for the new DVD/BDs a new 5.1 mix made from master files but re-EQd and mixed for modern homes and soundbars. And put into Dolby TrueHD.
So in essence The Matrix hasn't been heard in DTS since 1999.
I thank those on the lookout for Goldeneye and TND.
I'd like to request the DTS for The World Is Not Enough (may have had a ES presentation) and for Batman Forever.

The Matrix would have been the theatrical Dolby mix or created from scratch from the original mix and encoded as lossless

This space for rentA suggestion for another DTS cinema preservation if anyone ever comes across the discs: how about Independence Day? I can't remember if I saw it in true DTS, but everyone who experienced it in theaters remembers the impact of the buildings going boom.

I'm preparing ID4 for Jetrell for the collection. If anyone is up for a preservation, I'd love it! The DTS LaserDisc is amazing. I haven't heard the Blu-ray yet.

EDIT: Oh, you did mention earlier that you had the ID4 discs. Awesome.

This space for rentOh, and another thing that would be cool - a preservation of the classic "Digital Experience" trailer audio. (Obviously, the later, more familiar version - because nobody has the visual for the shorter version that was attached to Jurassic Park.)
I remember that trailer always blew me away in the theater.

I believe it's on the Jurassic Park DTS DVD and a few other discs when you chose DTS.
I will double check.

Jedi KnightNever heard JP theater DTS. But was blown away by the laserdisc DTS demo back in the day.
My theater had the basic Dolby setup not even sure it was 5.1 or plain stereo.

-I haven't heard the DTS cinema discs on my system for ID4, but the LD seems awfully faithful, better than the AC3 Laserdisc. I've yet to hear it on Blu-ray, but if it was sourced from the DVDs mix, it won't be as good.
-The DTS trailer attached to JP and other early DTS titles was a slightly shortened version of the one we are used to seeing. We have the audio for it from the DTS discs of Jurassic Park, but no video exists anywhere. It would be possible with some clever editing to re-create it with the DTS trailer that appears on several DVDs. Basically, the only difference is that after THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE blows up, the sound and image fade away into nothing after the explosion. It's a neat effect and was awesome to see in front of JP last summer at a 35mm screening I attended.
